    Great video. Most entertaining ! Have a 1980 ,been working very slowly on it for about a year now.
    (Very slowly) by myself aren’t they great? What manuals were you using?

      Nice! My first van was a 1980. I actually started out with no manuals and just went of information online. The Samba is a great source and you can download pdf manuals. I finally got a complete Bentley manual after my 5th van though and it is nice. Good luck!

      Drew Dobransky thanks for the feedback! I love them, I’ve had 5, but I also flip them as I did this one. I currently have a Syncro that I’m building. They’re super fun, just be ready to work on it. Usually some little stuff will always pop up but you learn quick. Have fun!

      84 and up are basically all the same

      @@soopsoopdawoooop5586 83 and below are air cooled. About the same to remove, but a lot more tin and no coolant
