You can't imagine how many things I had imagined, but a Theremin in the Stylophone philosophy hadn't really occurred to me, I find it spatial, really a great surprise, great everyone ✨📡✨

Yeah it is an incredibly experimental instrument and always has been. I don’t know anyone that would describe a theramin otherwise.
I imagine there will be a ton of those once people start receiving them. For some reason this kind of demo is really popular during the pre-order phase of electronic instruments. I’m looking forward to it too
@@scotthannan8669 Professional players used it to score music for films (typically horror, sci-fi).
Jean-Michel Jarre still plays it in live concerts.
@@brandonmason388 Definitely. I remember very similar demo videos from Arturia for the MicroFreak where a mustachioed hipster played two of them with a BeatStep(?) in a fancy room. What I'm interested to see is an unbiased review from someone who already has a lot of synths.

Have you received any word on when you'll actually receive what you pre-ordered 5 months ago? Stylophone seems to have gone radio-silent about that. Just curious. I'd be pissed if I pre-ordered this thing, and still haven't received it by now.
@@pekerhed101The update email a few weeks ago said they were still working on it. By the way, pre-ordered doesn't mean paid for. You just get your name on the list so when it becomes available that's when you actually order and pay
It’s like the child of an MS-20 and VCS-3, pretty cool thing all round.
Possibly the most exciting synth in years! Can't wait to get it into my hands (or well, out of my hands)!

Sweet! Only gripe about any stylophone product is that there is not a direct dc power in ( not crucial but it would be nice) This theremin is extremely appealing! I currently own the original, the GenX as well as the Beat. Keep up the good work!

I've preordered one, but I wish it had an FX loop. It would be much more versatile if we could use outboard effects like reverb, delay or an octaver. Something for Stylophone to think about developing for the MkII release.
