I get the distinct feeling that there was an error made at the end when on the screen it indicated that the 'plaintiff' had won $625, when the judge had been clearly speaking to the defendant (to her right) and then even said 'I won't be awarding the $1150 you're asking for but $625', whereas we already knew that the plaintiff was asking for $1335 and the defendant was asking for $1150. Perhaps that's why there was no conversation at the end with Doug, because there would have been a lot of confusion as to who really won and if Doug said 'well you lose' and in fact the guy without realising had in fact won, that would be quite embarrassing for the TV station...

The sad thing is that contractors get screwed for no good reason sometimes. My dad's a contractor and a good one. Several months ago he did work for a woman who was his mother's best friend. He's literally known her all of his life. He's done work for her before and she's even recommended him to other people. So this time there was some flaw in his work supposedly. He thinks someone got into her head probably another contractor who wanted the job. Long story short he agrees to come back and fix it sends her paperwork and everything. Literally the Friday before he's supposed to come back she files all sorts of complaints against him and no longer wants him to do it. She's STILL giving him all sorts of hell about this!!! Then a couple of months ago she texts him begging him to come back despite all of the hell she's put him through but he directed her to the lawyer that he hired because of all of this. It sounds like she's STILL escalating the situation to this day!!!

    I guess judges are terrible at math. Half of $1150 isn't $625. It's $575.

Everyone can hate me for this. But I respect the old man's wife. She really is a classy lady, even if she backed up his lunacy. I hope she finds peace. She IS right about history, about days in which civility and good living REALLY mattered. She is truly a madam, and has respect for living well. I hope she lives her life with all the pleasures wealth and passion bring her. I can see it.

I side with the plaintiff on this one. Not to get all his money but he shouldn't have had to pay any more than he did. The project went over timing because they did it piece mill. A day here a day there. The def says it was the end of the day on Wed and we were coming back on Monday, like it's no biggie. How is that acceptable? Bid the jobs to be done on consecutive days and maybe this could have been avoided.

I would love to take tea or a glass of aged wine with madam at her historic home. She spoke the truth about history and the FUTURE. I actually respect the plaintiff's wife. You may call her arrogant, selfish, etc. But I can tell she is from another time, at least, mentally. And, in those years.....people respected dignity and class.

Thank you for all your time and care you put into making your videos.
In Mark 16:15 he commands us too "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature". I take this command very serious.
In hopes that others who are not born-again will decide to make that choice. Jesus is the only way to heaven. Living he loved us, dying he saves us, and buried he carried our sins far away.
Keep in mind no one is promised tomorrow, or even an hour from now. Proverbs 27:1 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Please call upon Jesus today.

Please, Judge Millian, to say girls instead of women is fine. I'm in my 60's and calling me a girl is just fine. Don't be so sensitive.

I disagree. If we used the term "boys" when describing a male in the same profession, I would agree. but when a man uses the term 'girl' to describe a woman who works for him, it is a subtle way of keeping her in her place. Again, I've never heard a man use the term boy when describing a worker.

I agree with you . Sometimes lady can sound offensive , woman can sound old (especially if the person is like 18-24) I’m 37 and I still love to be called girl . My best friend and I greet each other with “hey girrrrlll” no one in passing conversation comes up and says “hey woman”. And actually saying “I have a woman in the office” could make someone say “oh my he’s trying to be funny by accentuating that’s she’s female, he could’ve just said I have “someone” in the office lol 😂 honestly everyone just need to sit down I’m so sick of all this crybaby sensitivity smh 🤦🏽‍♀️

@@lauraanne5175 people wouldn’t say they have a few “boys,” but they’d use the less formal “guys.” Colloquially, we use “girls,” the same way we use “guys.” Man/woman, boy/girl, guy/girl, lady/gentleman. It’s really not hard to understand why the defendant used “girl” instead of “woman.”
