There's a warp spot in the southern desert corner. Also, a quick tip for help is to use your fishing rod on the bridge in the fishing hole. You'll catch a very beneficial item!

I never looked at the name like that, but it's definitely just that LOL. In response to your other comment, thank you!! I'm so stoked to see why it's a favourite :D
Blessed with yet another Gato TP video! And I have two pieces of advice again: First, there's an area in the southwestern corner of the Gerudo Desert that you'll want to go exploring before you leave the area. And second, if you're ever confused on what you're supposed to do in Arbiter's Grounds, transform into a wolf. As it is the first dungeon where you have access to wolf form, it makes copious usage of the mechanic for most of the dungeon.
I love how in the manga Rusl's and Link's reunion is really heartfelt and they hug and get all teary, and in the game it's just kinda "...sup" lmao 10:43 - YES! Confused Gato music let's goooooooo! (I genuinely find these to be some of the funniest parts of your videos. This says a lot because all parts of all videos are highly entertaining already!)
I am SO prepared to re-read the manga, I can't wait to see those moments again ;; and putting together those confused parts of the video is one of my favourite things to do, so that's fantastic news, haha!
I just spent way too long trying to catch a Hylian Loach with a sinking lure without success. After I spent way too long trying to beat the final level of the Rollgoal game to get the frog lure. 😵💫😵💫😵💫😂🤣🤣
If possible I would love to see you go into all the places you can in castle town, there’s one shop in particular that I’m sure will give you some funny moments because of how ridiculous it is 😂
Okay I know I commented alr but the -the uh fisherman that looks really pointy in the fishing shop is the fisherman who has the fishing minigame in Ocarina of Time! You actually passed a spot in the desert with several things of importance. When you first enter the desert, there's what looks like a tall pillar of stone visible in the distance. If you go towards it you can get a fast travel point, and maybe do something interesting with the pillar itself (hint hint, no spoilers). It's also worth checking the area where you see that pillar much later, after you've gotten basically every dungeon except the last one done. I don't wanna spoil exactly what it is you'll find there, but I'd advise only dealing with it after you've finished the Malo Mart quests and gone to the shop Malo is aiming to open in castle town.
Yippee arbiters grounds! The scariest Twilight Princess dungeon! Also whenever you revisit the fishing hole, check the water by the bridge for treasure
Comment number 3 lol. CHARACTER GROWTH! Also some quick history, (i know you haven’t played ocarina of time so i will be vague with details where i can) The Twili (people of twilight) are descendants of the Gerudo tribe, after ocarina of time/majoras mask in the child timeline there was a great war that broke out against hyrule and Gerudo, which is the reason this “prison” was created. It was for the highest ranked prisoners and threats to Hyrule. What we assume happened from there is the Gerudo people took on the looks and life of Twili within that time. This is also only about 50-100 years after ocarina of time so its interesting to see how the events play off each other.
I don't think the Twili are the Gerudo. The mysterious "Interlopers" from the creepy Lanayru cutscene date from the first discoveries of the Triforce and created the Fused Shadow in their war to claim it before being banished to the Twilight Realm millenia ago. They eventually evolved into the Twili from there over time. You're right about the Arbiter's Grounds though, I'm just pretty sure the creation of the Twili and the systematic imprisonment of the Gerudo aren't actually linked.
@@Dudeman23rd ahhh but here is the thing. The twili wear the symbol of the Gerudo. Zant himself wears it. We don’t know if All of them are descendants of the Gerudo but some of them are guaranteed. they could have interbred. Also a millennia is said no where, this is very possible the mentions of the war (in the Lanayru cutscene) that happens after ocarina of time. The interlopers were unnamed and race unmentioned so its also safe to assume it was gerudo as they were the only users of magic outside of the royal family. The Triforce was also a secret until AFTER ocarina of time when the war began. Hence why the people wanted it. They also didn’t create the realm at that very point, but the power that was sealed away within the realm. it is theorized that the realm has been around side by side with hyrule sense time began, and what see is the dark world in the fallen timeline is another use of what we see as the twilight in the child timeline. But as far as the Twili being gerudo it is all but confirmed. There is too much evidence surrounding it.
@@Mindstormer I'll have to break this down into parts. - The Triforce was not a secret pre-OoT. The legend of the Triforce as told by the Deku Tree indicates that people have been searching for it for years. The three-triangled symbol of the Triforce is plastered all over everything Hyrule has ever touched, as the symbol of the royal family, and is called the Triforce without question. Everyone knows it grants wishes, everyone knows it's in the Sacred Realm; the secret is _where_ the entrance to it is, which only the royal family knows. - We know there was already a civil war in Hyrule over the Triforce just before OoT because the Hero of Time is an orphan of that war, the Deku Tree Sprout says so. - The Interlopers are described as beings who "excelled at magic". The only Gerudo we've ever seen who have magical abilities are the Twinrova and Ganondorf, who was raised by them; the only exceptions so far have been Urbosa and Riju, who only have limited lightning powers, not the kind of dark magic necessary to create the Fused Shadows. Every Gerudo society we've ever gotten to visit in the games shows no indication of rampant magic use among its denizens, and it would be further crippled by the arrest of Ganondord. Additionally, the images used by Lanayru to depict the Interlopers are copies of Link. If they were Gerudo, you'd expect them to be female. Lanayru uses Ilia's image in the cutscene too, it would've been an easy way to make it clear to the player that evil magic women were responsible. - I've never noticed the very similar symbol on Zant's outfit, but 1) it's not identical, 2) he's the only one wearing it, and 3) he specifically has very strong ties to Ganondorf. If Gerudo culture were truly turned into Twili culture, we'd expect to see more of it. - I don't want to have to get into theories about Twili procreation, but seeing as Zant and Midna are the only two gendered ones we have, if the Twili are supposed to be the Gerudo, Zant should already be king by way of being male. Zant talks about Midna as part of the "royal family" in his pre-boss speech; it indicates some sort of preexisting dynasty that doesn't follow the "one male born every 100 years who must be king" tradition. - The Dark World in ALttP is the Sacred Realm post-Sealing War, after Ganon obtained the Triforce and was sealed within it. It is not an analog to the Twilight Realm. People within the Dark World talk about searching for the Triforce there and being trapped and transformed all the time, but the Triforce is entirely unheard of by Midna and co. The mechanics are completely different too; the Twilight Realm is full of Twili. The Dark World is full of people turned into the truest reflections of their hearts. - It's not confirmed that the Mirror of Twilight was used at all on the Gerudo imprisoned in the Arbiter's Grounds. Ganondorf is only sent there by the sages after stabbing him failed, and the giant colosseum filled with Stallord has no explanation if the point of execution is supposed to be the mirror. You have to use the Spinner to even pull up the platform the mirror sits on. While there's wiggle room for the possibility of some Twili being Gerudo, there is not enough evidence in the text to suggest that they are in fact one to one, and if that was the intention, the writers did a terrible job communicating that.
Happy to see another moon and nighttime enjoyer 🙌 and thank you! It's not modelled after any pet, just a little design I've used on and off for a while now (:
I like thinking Midna’s the one taking all those photos, but she mostly uses the camera to take ugly photos of Link lol Also when gato was begging for hearts that was literally me in skyward sword Hero mode 😭😭😭
"Are the Gerudo in this game?" I can tell you right now that there is exactly ONE Gerudo in this game, and you've already met her! Can you guess who it is? As for where the rest went, well...use some subtextual skills regarding the existence of the Arbiter's Grounds. You should be able to figure it out.
I’m probably the only person watching this with a baby gopher snake I caught in the house. She is a very good snek. But now I have to let her go cause I can’t keep her 😭
