@@marccohen4571 two slightly different styles as well. Jones was more of your traditional country crooner, while Waylon was edgier balancing his sound between southern rock and country. Both had the personalities of outlaws though, which is part of what made them similar.
@@blueblaze1987 I agree. To me nobody can match George in his prime. He is one of the greatest vocalists of any genre. But man, Waylon's voice with that telecaster and Ralph Mooney on steel. Waylon's stuff in the 70s is some of the greatest music ever put on record. On a side note, they were great friends(sure you know)
