It's hilarious how easily time travel came to Saitama, he basically understood how it worked in an instant and immediately reversed time to exactly the point he wanted too, and the only downside is he likely didn't retain the knowledge of how he did that. If he had taken a second, he might have figured out how to create a paradox where he changed the timeline while retaining God-powered Garou's ultimate understanding of universal energies.
it's probably for the best. His new version would have killed humanity with a wrong sneeze.
He doesn't need to be this powerful for now. And it's not like he has any issues getting to this point again, if he faces someone strong.

The story of OPM is Saitama learning how to be a hero mentally. He finished the physical/fighting aspect before the story began, now he needs to learns how to act like a hero. He is the strongest hero, but doesn’t have a “heroes intuition.” It’s like in season 1 when he destroyed the meteor. He just thought of destroying it, someone like Blast or Tastumaki would think of how to prevent damage to the city.

1) Create a dark void use serious punch with garou
2) omnidirectional serious punch, which mean the opponent can't dodge it from get hit by punch no matter what cuz that punch will come from all directions
3) Destroy I.O moon only use 4 finger (one of the larger moon in solar system)
4) Moving at mftl speed
5) Kick/grab hyperspace gate (4d~5d ability)
6) Can talking in space without oxygen/he doesn't need breath
7) Sneezing and the jupiter planet was shattered
8) Survive from a black hole
9) Time travel

As a Dragon Ball fan I always believed that Goku can defeat Saitama. There were many logical reasoning like how Goku can grow continuosly strong by training and reaching new heights and how Saitama doesn't train or he thinks he is too strong to train. BUT THIS CHAPTER CONFIRMED THAT SAITAMA IS FREAKING STRONG AND HE CAN BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF GOKU! Like how can someone still question this fact. This dude can kick black holes, he can reverse use the black hole with his sheer strength, he can understand the forces of universe and he can grow stronger and stronger without a sweat.

I came up with a crazy theory about this, to explain Saitama's power, in the future Saitama managed to use that power in a different situation, he went back when the old Saitama was not that strong and had hair, this encounter made Future Saitama with infinity power fuse with the old Saitama, breaking his limiter and forget his memories, so the old Saitama wakes up and noticed his hair is gone, and while fighting monsters he realizes he's so strong finishing enemies with one punch and now he think his trainings made him strong, on this chapter you can see Saitama not understand anything, that could definitely have happened before, making a Paradox, Saitama created himself from nowhere, a force that exists all timelines, for this reason I think Murata and One could have done that, presenting time travel and making Saitama being able to do that easily, this could explain the origin of his powers, the same way that Saitama is the only one that could defeat him, the same way if for him to be strong by causing a paradox on time on the future, that reason is because I believe Saitama is always destined to fight with God and get to this point of releasing full power and unlocking possibly god powers, this might be the real reason of why there's no explanation or flashbacks of Saitama becoming stronger, because there must be a event that caused this paradox with Saitama

Saitama is actually way passed “God Level Threat” his a “Infinit Threat” Since his limitless. Which mean saitama’s power is growing stronger as time passes or as the battle lasted longer. Saitama is like the embodiment of the space expansion.

I've been telling people that Saitama is limitless but his power level depends on who he is fighting with. If there is a need for him to beat someone stronger , then his power level will rise so fast that it will eventually make him leave his opponent in the dust and makes them irrelevant to the point that he can One Punch the living crap out of them.

He slowly scales above his opponent to defeat them, same way with Boros kinda. After finally fighting someone actually capable of pushing him, he grew faster than Garou could react. It was stated that this battle was the reason he grew so much.
@imnotmexican1987 yes it was due to an upsurge of emotion but not necessarily rage. Any emotion could actually do especially if he was elated to fight an even stronger opponent. His growth is tied to a "worthy" battle such as this and his reason throughout those years in training to become as strong as the present, was that he always found worthy battles that led to him to grow until nothing in earth was worthy of fighting him anymore which led to his eventual boredom and lack of growth.

Theory: Maybe just maybe, this coming back to the past is what happened in the beginning that gave Saitama his power but he does not have a memory of it. Another Saitama came to past and got merged with Saitama of that timeline (with hair) and he became super strong without memory of how it happened.

I went back and reread the entire Garou arc and it was a masterpiece imo. So many kick ass moments. The time travel worked for me here, but the problem with time travel is it raises other questions. 1. Why doesn’t God who obviously understands everything Garou would understand, not go back in time and kill Saitama as a kid?
Well that's because god can't interfere on earth or in the universe in general it seems to be sealed, that's why he creates heralds like garou was, but he got out of control

Well the reason is that God himself is sealed and is interacting with others through the black cubes that blast set out to destroy. God never knew about the power of Saitama himself and now with this time travel he never got to know the true limits of Saitama so he would not "need" To do so.
There are now two cores, so the one that traveled back in time should have a recording of everything that happened in the old future
What this could also suggest is that every time he has taken someone out with a single punch it could have been his future stronger self that then fuses with the past self. Some fd up paradoxical stuff.
