Adaptive & Shock Responsive Social Protection to Guarantee the Rights of Older People

The aim of this webinar was to advance the awareness of and knowledge on older people's rights through the lens of adaptive and shock responsive social protection (ASRSP), as well as share country-specific practices in this area. The focus countries included India, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Malawi and Tanzania. Furthermore, the webinar served as a platform to disseminate the findings of a recent HelpAge report on ASRSP and stimulated a discussion on advancing the rights of older people through ASRSP.
