this was very helpful cheers mate even for an experienced designer i didn't know about the defringe effect i was doing it all by hand
No problem mate! There’s another way to do it whilst keeping a layer mask too - using the max/min filter to adjust the mask 👊🏻
I'm halfway through the video and seeing the deep fried section makes me wanna stand and applaud. I've thought of this so many times and I called it deep frying just as well haha.
It’s so common and such an easy fix too! Great minds think alike 😅😅

thank you for the tutorial, previously im really curious with the "deep frying" effect in Sports design because I ended up not using it... whenever i made the effect its always not suit with the design or too "crisp" but in this tutorial, you really helped me to solve them up.

Thank you! The artwork on the right is actually a design I’ve done not so long ago but I’ve tweaked it to match the landscape layout - will definitely do a thumbnail tutorial though, thanks for the suggestion!
