Oh snap. Just finished graduated in graphic design ( Infographe ) and although it had a very large spec we didn't get into detailed work like this in photoshop. I'll be watching this one over and over. Thank you Dansky.
Love your honesty and the fact that you directly got into points without unnecessary jabbering :p As a graphic designer, I learned many new tips from this video. Thanks a lot 😁
im still somewhat new to Photoshop so this was both wonderful and confusing at the same time. Ive learned about layer masks but i still dont understand when and why they are used. Really loved the video man, i love photo manipulation and hope to get into it.
a good test to see whether uve understood the fundamentals is to have a spliff and see if you can still produce the image u did when sober ;) thayts what i did and was very happy when i discovered i could get from a -z on the image end result stoned
This is an amazing tutorial with great tips! My only note is that I had to double check that I didn't have the playback speed cranked up... I had to pause and go back many times because you're going sooo fast and the video was difficult to follow for that reason 😅
I wish these tutorials weren't so fast. You are not refreshing someone's mind you're teaching beginners. 😫 Ya I tried slowing it down but can hear what you're saying.
Aha umm, I just did a search for landscape photography photos on Unsplash/Pexels, and then searched for random objects. Essentially, picking two totally different photos that would be impossible and then combine them together 😊
I had one doubt. I a fidget spinner lands in the desert , then it will surely move a bit forward after hitting the sand and some sand will get collected at the point where it the spinner hit and moved forward. How can we add that collected sand?
Well it's a great video and straight to the point. But I think the beginners can find it a bit hard as it's going very fast. Anyways awesome video I say. Totally worth watching
Here is my notes to this tutorial: ### Adjusting Exposure 1. Create a Hue/Saturation layer from the Adjustment icon. 1. Bring the saturation to 0% 2. Create an Exposure adjustment layer 1. Try to make the target objects exposure to match with the background ### Balancing Color 1. Create a Color Balance adjustment layer and try to match with the background ### Adding Object Shadows 1. Create an Exposure adjustment layer 2. Invert the mask Ctrl + I (Exposure adjustment layer) 3. Add a clipping mask 4. Select the Exposure adjustment 1. Move the Exposure to negative direction (around -3) 2. Gamma Correction to positive direction (around .5) 5. Select the brush tool and brush the shadows ### Adding Surface Shadows 1. Same with “Adding Object Shadows” 2. Just make the brush more thinner ### Adding Highlights to Object 1. Do the opposite of “Adding Object Shadows” ### Adding Environmental Lighting to the Object 1. Create a Solid Color layer and select a color that matches with the environment 2. Try out some blending mode whichever works great 3. Add a clipping mask 4. Invert the layer Ctrl + I (Solid Color layer) 5. Now brush to the objects area where it makes contacts with the environment ### Adding Textures to the Object 1. If you have a texture picture related to the environment you can apply this to the object 2. Blending mode - Overlay 3. Add a clipping mask to the object ### Adding Atmosphere - It is great for adding Fog or Mist. 1. Create a Solid color adjustment layer 2. Mask and Invert it 3. Select brush tool 1. Opacity to 100% 2. Flow to 5% 4. Brush to the entire scene to make it foggy atmosphere 5. Add a Curve adjustment layer and do your thing ### Particle Brushes 1. Create a Solid Color adjustment layer and match the color with the environment 2. Select a brush that is appropriate to the environment 3. Brush over the object
I think that if you post content that uses Envato Elements assets when you have an active subscription, you are all good. Downloaded items come with a license that is dated, so any disputes, you prove you had an active subscription at the time of usage/posting 👍
Why soooo complicated with the pen tool? Why not just select subject then deselect the spinner holes with the magic wand tool. Cmd/cntrl-J and layer ready for transfer into the other image. Ready, set, go!!!
For the fidget spinner it could probably work that way, because it has a very clear subject and a simple uniform background. For more complicated images this is still a very good technique, especially if you want to get really smooth curves (which in this case is also important).
Is this allowed to be selled (in Displate for example) without being charged with copyright. Please let me know and i also want to say i appreciate your video.
When I select all 4 cuts and click substract front shape + crt click on image it only selects the outer layer and not all of them after it :( I followed step by step couple of times now and always the same thing happens, selecting only the outer layer....
I don't understand. In the beginning you use the path tool. But, it just seems to me like a slower version than the quick selection tool. What's the point?
Pen Tool takes longer but gives a perfectly clean cut out. Quick selection tools can be faster but are often less precise, depending on the image of course 👍

you can enable subtitles and even translation
Change the speed
Reason Dindah Unmesh of Piximperfect is everyone's favourite. He teaches, not show off
If you can hear what he is saying, what is the problem
bruh he is for advanced designer not for brainless freelancers
Great work...

Hey Dan! Loved your video...Can you please tell how you got idea for the spiner in desert..I always lack ideas like what I create :(
Aha umm, I just did a search for landscape photography photos on Unsplash/Pexels, and then searched for random objects. Essentially, picking two totally different photos that would be impossible and then combine them together 😊
Thanks alot for replying will surely remember that.
Amazing
This is a great video.
Great ❤
Crazy tips mann💯
Tysm 🙏🙏
Wondering from the first example why don’t we use the W? The object selection or magic wand etc ?
I had one doubt. I a fidget spinner lands in the desert , then it will surely move a bit forward after hitting the sand and some sand will get collected at the point where it the spinner hit and moved forward. How can we add that collected sand?
AWESOMEE
I did everything according to the video, but only the spinner (inside) is cut out, what should I do, help?

Great vid btw
Probably 😜
Please how can i install photoshop on macbook?
Thanks for this buddy
+1 sub
Awesome! Thanks Dami 👊
Can you share that custom brush pack?
Where the fidget spinner is on the sand it can have a slightly more budge in the sand... Not completely flat
We want the end!!!

You would need to check the licence terms specifically for the images you're using 👍
When I select all 4 cuts and click substract front shape + crt click on image it only selects the outer layer and not all of them after it :( I followed step by step couple of times now and always the same thing happens, selecting only the outer layer....
happened same to me. try intersecting shape fields? name must be something like that :( i use it in different language
same is happening in my case. after selecting all 4 paths of fidget spinner it only selects the outer layer
You are using macbook for photoshop ?
Yes, it's a 2018 Macbook Pro :)
I don't understand. In the beginning you use the path tool. But, it just seems to me like a slower version than the quick selection tool. What's the point?

Hi It's not selecting the circles. Only the bevel of hte fidget spinner @1:35
I would love it if you could help me
What about the fidge color ?
Can i have tht file in format psd?
Aren't there much simpler ways to remove the background?
Aha there’s so many ways at this point, and can all be used for different reasons 😂👍
coooooooooooooool
You are a good teacher but we can't understand your literature because it moves very fast
Subject- select
The tutorial is fast, I thought it is meant for beginners
wow
my three circles arent highlighted when i command press the work path 01:30
i hit exclude overlapping shapes .. and it worked.. so im not sure what i did wrong
A bit too fast for me, as a beginner. Thank you though.
As a person who never worked with clipping masks (or masks in general) this video causes my brain to crash
good tutorial. maybe you should calm down in coming videos, you are too fast for a tutorial that says it’s for beginners
Yea will slow down a bit in future videos 😂
Did you literally just say all that for masking. 😅 sorry I forgot it was for beginners.
too time intensive any way you can tell AI how to do it instantly for you?
If only you slowed down😢
Bahiyon dar Dar ke Sikha raha hai ki log sikhana Jaaye 😂
thats not looking close
Too complex
Cheater
i mean teacher
