I don’t know but Track 2 gives me the feeling that it was used as a funeral/burial music, the vibe that this song brings is like a crowded wake, in silence and playing this song depressingly.
I don't know if this is related, but the "Thank you for not smoking" in track 3 can also be heard in "FLASBAXXX UNLIMITED" by Nmesh, but with a different voice.
The Chris cunningham Nissan ads you could find if you look up a compilation of Chris's ads have some secret BOC tracks similar to the discordant drum noises I would assume belong to hooper bay, catalog 3 or maybe it's just some shit.
I have reason to believe that first track is the song "Powerline" from Catalog 3. If you time the track, you'll find the track times match up perfectly.
track 8 definitely, I feel like the first track would have been way too polished to have been on the first album, im basing this on the fact that we have sample of "duffy" from acid memories and it sounds wayyy fucking low fi, i can assume that the tracks from catalogue 3 would be just as raw if not more. Plus track 8 is nothing but uneventful drones, which seems like it would be from around that time period you know? "uneventful ambient electronica". I feel like if you pay attention to the type of tape noise on the earlier stuff (a few old tunes etc) you can sort of gauge when they might be from. Same thing with the R35TT, there was a HUGE leap in mixing between the stuff on that tape compared to stuff on say, geogaddi. Theres a specific sort of "Shine" to them, sonically speaking.
i don’t think they included the full track though, and the panning effect at the beginning and the drums throughout the track are very similar to 5D, so i think it’s something off of Closes Vol.1 or from the time they made that album
Track 2: Allegedly this is the band ‘My Bloody Valentine’ but nobody has been able to name the specific track. Problem with them is they did a similar thing to BoC and add small tracks without names at the end of named songs or they’d go completely unnamed.
Pretty sure it might be an old Sean Booth/Autechre or Gescom demo as it shares the same beat as the Seefeel Autechre remix that was released recently... it literally is the same beat... either that or they share the same percussion sample
Its Frederick Shambalas - First Night. Very rare, Extremely hard to find any information on this artist or song but believe me, I Heard this on a tape recorded back in the 80s off the radio and played it till the tape got chewed. There is no mystery surrounding this track
i have a feeling track 9 is sped up, due to how high the strings are, and how unnatural it sounds though I don't have any experience for such instrument so, idk
The beat is almost identical to the remix Autechre did for Seefeel recently... so imho that track might be an early Gescom song or possibly a Sean Booth/Autechre demo... either that or they just share the same beat
I'm very convinced that Thank you for not smoking is Boc because they often reproduced different music styles of 70s and 80s. The end of the track has some electronic tones, suggesting it is indeed an electronically composed piece (sorry don't know the right vocabulary) and not from an old movie. A few old tunes vol. 2 - Jimbo Rehearsing is a good example of how convincing they can compose music genres from those years My guess: Tracks 1 - 3 - Boc 4 - 50/50 5,7 - not Boc 8 - Boc 9 - not Boc
Wild speculation... but could Track 4 be something off Play By Numbers? It feels to me like - although very different - it could live on the same record as WYLTBF.
I always assumed play by numbers was more upbeat. Acid Memories would be guitars, Hooper bay would be eerie synths, Closes vol 3 would be a bit like hooper bay but it's less dreadful and has more rythym to the atmosphere like tomorrows harvest. Tomorrows Harvest also seems to be inspired by some one offs from the 2001 live party. I am eternally jealous of their family and friends.
@@jd5734 It sounds like nothing in their known catalog, including the old tunes and random tracks. It's some track from the 70s. It sounds like an Elton John instrumental. Another commenter says it's Vytas Brenner
My guesses: Track 1 is BoC. Track 2 is either BoC (Play by numbers era) or unreleased MBV. Track 3 on the whole is not BoC. It's from some sort of 70s soundtrack, although they may have added some synths and samples to it, hell interface style. Track 4 is BoC. Track 5, no clue, though I doubt it's BoC. Track 6 unlikely to be BoC, but unsure. Track 7 is not BoC. Track 8 is 1000% early BoC. Track 9 is not BoC. The only one that I am absolutely certain is them is track 8. There is no question.
Track 6: Carl Matthews - Gura Ma
Nice one, Moz!
That first track is incredible. Sounds so detached and isolating...
I was beyond toasted when I first heard it. I'm ready for some new drops at any time.

It has THE most my bloody valentine sound to it. It has to be them
👨🏿🔬 Finally
A Few New Tunes
Track 5 is my favorite, hopefully it turns up soon
this is some good community service you're doin here
Wow the second track is my favourite, quite depressing and kinda creepy? Love it
Listen to this album if you like that 2nd track: faex optim - Tris•kai•dek•a•pho•bi•a
Check out my bloody valentine. Their album Loveless is mind blowing
The first song is amazing...
I'm convinced track two is the ending to 'to here knows when' off the tremolo ep, just played backwards and pitched down
I just tested this by doin what u said and it definitely is
Track 6 has my heart.

Identified by Bloost Media.
I don't know if this is related, but the "Thank you for not smoking" in track 3 can also be heard in "FLASBAXXX UNLIMITED" by Nmesh, but with a different voice.
The track 7 has been identify, it's called "Mood In Motion" by Brian Chatton
Yeah, I am the one who found it :-D

wow there's some gems in here thanks so much for uploading
I think you can hear Track 2 on Sick Times at 3:47

duh, BOC 😂

How did you find it? Congrats btw.

long shot but this track has always reminded me of: th-cam.com/video/QOde4dXrq-Q/w-d-xo.html
Sounds a lot like them too, and not just in a shoegaze way, but just sounds a lot like something they’d make
Those little tunes at the end are called “codas”

Taylor laire- lullaby at the end

Hi milesium, i love you so so much
Thank you. For not smoking.
Is this specific mix available to download? I've got the societas x tapes but love this mini collection.
4 sounds like something i heard in Sinister. Not the exact song, but maybe same band / person.
I think you're talking about Geogaddi-Gyroscope and it's for sure BOC.
Track 7 reminds me of water
Track 2 has the same melody as the interlude of Satellite Anthem Icarus
Gonna guees the disconant noise one is from hopper bay

I wanna know the ID of the second track, it reminds me a bit of Stars of The Lid's earlier stuff.
Track 4 has similarities to tracks off of Sonic Youth's Made in USA soundtrack.
Track 7 is bitchin. has an elliott smithish chord progression in there. powerful combo boc + elliott...
4 WAS JUST SOLVED
Big City Orchestra - Undecided
Track 8 is likley from hopper bay
Legend electronic duo. Do you think that they are making something new? maybe. It would be great. Inspire by the Covid Pandemia for example.
They are always making music
New album confirmed by HS member
if anyone ever finds track 2 will someone let me know
Taylor laire- lullaby
@@jonathanwinchell5995 Nope. That's just a song that sampled this snippet. It's not the actual song
anyone got info on track 1? best one imo
Got nothing.
Probably an old BoC tune along with the penultimate track in this video.

Tracks 1 - 3 - Boc
4 - 50/50
5,7 - not Boc
8 - Boc
9 - not Boc
track 3 where art thou
Could track 3 be by William Orbit? There was an alias of his that was more chilled out compared to his other stuff, can't remember it now.
Is track 4 composed of drums or is it the end loop when a vinyl side has finished playing?
She can't come our way anymo, damn.

Track 2 sounds almost like an ESPRIT/George Clanton song
