These are great videos teaching step by step, i wish i was younger now ,back in they days we struggled for this type of information it was all manuals and books, sometimes the books would get damaged with water or you would loose them ,.
Awesome real world video, loads of valuable info there, great advice at the end ala not rushing in and basically just take a step back and think "what should be" v "what is" happening, Cheers Roy and Allan.
Great video … it makes it a lot easier to understand when you explain things like that.. just always forget when I’m diagnosing some faults to take my time an do through each process, would be interested in boiler breakdown courses !
I enjoy your videos! I love watching them. But I also have a question. My boiler (Intergas eco) we have hot water, but the heating isn’t right. No error code at all and the boiler is only at half capacity as it should be (according to another engineer who couldn’t fix it)
If you check working pressure at a boiler when running on max rate and the pressure is adequate then surely this means that there's no need to do a gas rate check. As, if I'm correct the higher the pressure the higher the gas rate as they have a direct relationship?
Roy/Alan Wanted to let you know how useful and helpful these video's are and and how I for one but not alone I'm sure are very appreciative. You'll deffo be getting some business from me and I'll be booking in for a fault finding course with Viva at my next earliest opportunity. Brilliant 👌
I got problem with main combi eco elite not thermostatic shower valve but hot water temperature fluctuating after plate heat exchanger replaced and boiler display going 70+
Great video chaps! Great trick on the thermistor, would most harness be the same or different on each manufacturer? Would like to make up that test piece. Many thanks 👌

Would this thermistor, if faulty, be the cause of the pump running continuously?
Good stuff Roy thank you.

My Halstead Eden CBX 32 does not have a DHW temp sensor, it must be telepathic?
Very useful, thanks Roy.
When using the hot tap I hear clanging/banging noise coming from next to expansion tank almost like a stone in a tumble dryer ? It’s puzzling me
Anyone know where you can get that gas analyser adapter for getting onto your P1’s please?

Q: Why's the HW tap piped up on the RHS at your centre? 😃
The left tap is also hot water, They are for all the different boilers
Great vid, do most manufacturers dhw thermistors have the same resistance at the temperatures in that chart? Thanks.
A lot of them do but it's always worth checking the installation instructions. Thanks.

Thank You
very good video! very helpful. working on valiant and Worcester would be even better :) or any multi meter stuff.
I got problem with main combi eco elite not thermostatic shower valve but hot water temperature fluctuating after plate heat exchanger replaced and boiler display going 70+
sounds like blocked plate
Another hw issue that might be worth mentioning to the inexperienced out the is back flow from shower valves etc..
Nice video . 👊🏻
Great video chaps! Great trick on the thermistor, would most harness be the same or different on each manufacturer? Would like to make up that test piece. Many thanks 👌
Hi Jeffrey, some manufactures use the same thermistors, so the plug from one manufacturer would fit another manufactures thermistor.
@@royfugler9971 thanks Roy for your reply and for the videos, very helpful 👌👌
Hi roy you trained me as a baxi engineer i left just wondered why you did
He was made redundant.
