Thanks for another great video. Good tip about depressing the cartridge to stop the pressure. Never thought of that, Ive always loosened the pipe underneath. 👍
Brilliant work, Our Baxi 830 is leaking a small amount of water from the divertor valve just below the motor. I'll now be able to confidently explain to someone that all is required is a cartridge swap out. Thank you.
Can you leave a link to where you got your diverter cartridge removal tool from ,have always used 35mm socket but it doesn’t always fit snug , that looks really positive ,nice find 👍
@@cputilitysolutions thanks for your prompt reply I have found one for £14.99 on eBay and placed my order . That’s going to be one tool that’s going to get some use without knocking the skin off my knuckles . Thanks for showing it in use 😀
@@frankiepc8119 that's the one mate, couple it with a 13mm socket and you're sorted. Also for flow turbine cartridges I use a 18mm hex socket (not the multi-tooth one because it slips)
what does the 5F flashing up mean? My boiler did this and the British gas engineer replaced what looked like the diverter motor within like 3 mins and went on his way. The problem with the boiler was the heating would turn on itself (no one using the water or central heating).
I think I was using the Unilite SLR-1000, but that's now been replaced the the SLR1450 and SLR1750. If you get anything from Unilite website use my code UNCLE and you'll get 25% off your whole order 👍🏾
I know mate, I got a few friends that work for BG and I know you're not all bad guys, but it's like anything, do a good job and you'll get recommended to 1 person, do a bad job and you'll get slated to 10
Excellent work as always🏅 Bro quick question though At the end you said the flow pipe is 49 degrees and your only getting 51 52 at the taps Wouldnt we be looking for more like 60 at the taps and flow staying at 49 to confirm its not passing anymore Or was it just that the flow pipe temp was already high due to the previous test and hot water temp is set at 50 something? 🫡
Great spot with that missing o ring. Keep the videos coming and the good work. 👍
Gotta have your eyes fully open!

Hello mate whats the sequence to put those boilers into Service mode please?
nice little repair that :)

This happened when the switch was in the tap water heating function only. Not both central heating and tap
SF is service mode to test your high and low rates
Can I ask the make of that light please
