    Thank you for all of this important and informative planting information. I was given some zinnia plants but zero instructions for raising them. I didn’t know that they could be dead headed.
    The potting mixture is extremely helpful as well since it would help me to figure out where not to plant them due to the soil needs of my other plants.
    I don’t have a green thumb so everything is new to me since I’m finally taking the time to grow flowers and a vegetable garden.

    Can we not pinch the long variety zinia to make them bushy?
    I have sowed some seed but I don't know if they are long or dwarf variety . And I only have the access of hanging planters by the window , so I can't provide them bigger pots. Please suggest a way to grow them in smaller pots.

      Let them mature on the plant ...once they are dry...harvest them ...you will find seeds in the seed pods(bottom part of the flower)

    Question buddy.
    My zinnia ended up germinating as normal but stem grew very thin with no strength and bent over eventually dieing.
    Can you advise possible problem may have been.

      Lack of sufficient sunlight...make sure they get full sun from day one for healthy growth

    Beautiful …. I have planted them from seeds but their stem is not straight … it falls down on the grill n then grows upwards . What should I do to make them grow straight . I will plant more seeds to grow them more . Please advice . Keep posting such videos on all plants . Happy Gardening.

      Keep them in full sun from day one ...so that they can grow straight n strong ....provide support from sticks if plants are too tall or too heavy..... you can also prune them in the starting once they are 4-6 inches tall for the plant to grow bushy

      Add NPK 19:19:19 fertilizer in the soil ...mix half table spoon in 500 ml water ....add 20-30 ml per plant

      Grow seeds in tissue paper first. After germination, you may transfer them to soil.

      If u are growing 40-50 seeds than it is better to start them together ...that's way they can get good care , can shift thr place according to need , water can be given at the same time etc ....yes u can also start them at the final location

      Absolutely! You have to keep an eye on them to make sure they don’t dry out or get chomped on by animals, but sowing in place is very simple for zinnias

    I have sown zinnias in March
    I have transplanted them
    After few days the leaves dried up
    And plant died
    Two of them survived bt the buds are very small
    They never bloomed well

      @@HarshaVardhan-dn7gq also slugs and snails love them! And when I plant them out I cover them with a half a plastic bottle so no bugs can get to them when young and tender. They can make the whole seedling disappear in a minute

    Thanks for the video, I have a doubt, if its on the terrace in full day sunlight, is it okay for the plant because in Rajasthan temparture will go upto 40 degrees
