Closest player I could think of that would be a very expensive replacement is Van Dijk. Strong, demanding, set piece extrodinare, long ball passer, ball winner, and overall baller. With no finance issues, Van Dijk would've been a great signing
Last season Eeder militao played 21 games in la liga , the same number of games played by sergio ramos, and did well so i think that there is no need to look for another player in the defense, militao is 23 years old and has a bright future
Laporte? Breaks lines very well, solid defensively, has been in La Liga before. Would resolve set piece problems and his long range passing is phenomenal
Eder Militao would be a good replacement with some experience by his side (Alaba) but Skriniar would also be good. In midfield you will have Valverde to follow up Kroos but i think that Barella from Inter would be a Great replacement for Modric. In my opinion leaves that only needing some refreshment in the attack, but who?
I think that when a team loses a player, they don't necessarily have to replace him with a similar player. That's why barca failed to replace iniesta so far, bcuz they kept looking for a similar player rather than any high quality player who plays same position.
But eder militiao has improved significantly compared to last season and has similar qualities like ramos, he just needs more game time to prove everyone he is the right fit, Alaba can play left back to provide more attack from the left as mendy is good defensively but not attacking , the only position rma is in need is attacker who can help benzema up front
Militao and Alaba are the answer with nacho signed this will be the rotation maybe a smaller signing and nacho moving between right and light back when needed as well
Madrid have a serious issue, lack of creation, and defensive stability. Alaba provides creation but would not be able to let loose at center back. Mendy provides excellent defensive but lacks offense. Is Carlos smart enough to get them to buy into switch positions? Are they good enough?
I think this video missed a key point, in that Alaba has made it very clear he has no interest in playing Defense, he wants a more attacking or midfield role.
We have several good young prospects in Castilla. Pablo Ramón, Gila, Marvel... There are options in the team and we just need to start giving them chances. Militao+Nacho+Alaba+A Castilla player should be the goal... Vallejo has to go
Odegaard, Ceballos, Valverde should've been the present and future of Real's midfield but for some reason they never got the trust of the manager (except for Valverde). Even Asensio could play as a 10 or a more attacking 8 if needed to. (Losing Kovacic to Chelsea is also unfortunate).
As a madrid fan I would love to believe that we'll get a signing but realistically, it does not seem true. I see us starting alaba and alternating between nacho and militao as needed playing 4 at the back
I know you guys pretend that Brazil doesn't exist, didn't even mention Militão (who played much more than Varane last season), but ok, there are two young defenders who are very promising, Renan of Palmeiras, 19 years old, he plays as centre-back and left back, with great skill to carry the ball, gdisputes aerial balls well, a little slow but disarms well, and João Victor of Corinthians with 22 is a great defender, he doesn't usually go in the middle much but defends well when there is high opposing pressure, disarms well on counterattacks, they are not world class players, yet, but they can be easily molded to be, because both have techniques, I see a little bit of Marquinhos in both, and are probably the future of Brazilian defense, since the editorial cites the aging of Real, I believe they are good indications aiming a potential.
It's better if Madrid just give a chance to Castilla players with Eder, Nacho and Alaba taking care of the central defence. Jesus Vallejo did good with Granada and can come up too. What's with big teams and overloading their wage bill?
what about Phil Jones tho? at his prime age. He is looking for a new club that can match his ambition to win CL and currently trying to force his way out from Old Trafford. Eventho i am not sure United will let him go with cost under 80mil
Hire a good manager and they'll make anything work...the manager is the most important thing. Ancelotti is great but he struggles without an all star squad, which Real don't have rn. Conte would have been a better choice.
They should stick to bringing in or promoting a young CB (that would be good enough as squad player) and use the 3 CBs that would all be at Alderweireld's level at least and possibly better. With the state of finances I can't see them affording a Lacroix or Kounde. If the club really believe they need a ready made addition to complement the 3, then Boateng wouldn't be a bad choice. Free transfer, reasonable wage demands and had a great season starting for Bayern. Possibly a closer style/trait to Ramos and same age as Alderweireld
As a decade long madrid fan, I would want Nacho to be his replacement. Don't care about other people's perceptions about his quality...he is my rock as a madridista. Militao is already there with a burst in form few months ago.
What do you think? This is football manager? Skriniar will not leave inter. They already sold Hakimi so I'm pretty sure they are not going to sell another big star
If we're talking about right CB's...real don't need anybody. Militao has proven that he can be relied upon and possesses all the qualities for a modern CB. He can pass well, good in the air, Pacey and has that tint of aggression as well.
They could take a risk and go for eric bailly. He wouldn't be too expensive and I think he still has the potential to be a top class player, and has a lot of ramos' qualities. But I know it's never gonna happen cuz he's always injured.

Closest player I could think of that would be a very expensive replacement is Van Dijk. Strong, demanding, set piece extrodinare, long ball passer, ball winner, and overall baller. With no finance issues, Van Dijk would've been a great signing
Impossible, thats like saying messi to real..
Militao and Alaba will start with Nacho covering. They still have Vallejo on their books too. Maybe signing a center back won't be so sensible.
Last season Eeder militao played 21 games in la liga , the same number of games played by sergio ramos, and did well so i think that there is no need to look for another player in the defense, militao is 23 years old and has a bright future
Real in bad financial state? What are you smoking?
Laporte? Breaks lines very well, solid defensively, has been in La Liga before. Would resolve set piece problems and his long range passing is phenomenal
The perfect replacement would be Pau Torres. Spanish, well built, good passer and moreover a leader.
Tito football: who will pair alaba next season in Madrid's defense
Militao: am I a joke to you?
Been a busy bee of late n’ haven’t watched Tifo in a short while - but I gotta these vids are such class!
PS. ITS COMING ROME 🇮🇹
Militao and Alaba are the answer with nacho signed this will be the rotation maybe a smaller signing and nacho moving between right and light back when needed as well
Alder swirled is actually a genius pick, didn’t even think of that one
Real:"we lost Ramos and Varane plus aging midfielders, we need to get replacements"
Also Real:"We are signing Mbappe"
Toby would have been a great scoop
Also now more than ever Pau Torres should be the irreplacable replacement...once funds return to normal of course
I think Carvajal - Alaba - Militao - Mendy is already a pretty good defensive line. Madrid just needs some substitutes.
I always thought Marquinhos would be a decent replacement for Ramos although hard to prize him away from PSG
Edmond Tapsoba is already statistically the best ball playing CB in Europe, he’s gotta be a primary target for a team like Real
Eder Militao has already fills his boots. Can you make another video about and why he was completely neglected earlier.
Madrid have a serious issue, lack of creation, and defensive stability. Alaba provides creation but would not be able to let loose at center back. Mendy provides excellent defensive but lacks offense. Is Carlos smart enough to get them to buy into switch positions? Are they good enough?
"Only 187cm tall"
Lol! All the half-pints crying to themselves.
Vallejo has to go
I am a Madrid fan and I prefer Wesley Fofana to any other mentioned players. He is very young and very adaptive.
I see us starting alaba and alternating between nacho and militao as needed playing 4 at the back
My favourite football series on youtube is back!
What they are not talking about is that in two years, Real Madrid will generate an extra 150 M euros/year with the new stadium.
200 millions more not 150
I know you guys pretend that Brazil doesn't exist, didn't even mention Militão (who played much more than Varane last season), but ok, there are two young defenders who are very promising, Renan of Palmeiras, 19 years old, he plays as centre-back and left back, with great skill to carry the ball, gdisputes aerial balls well, a little slow but disarms well, and João Victor of Corinthians with 22 is a great defender, he doesn't usually go in the middle much but defends well when there is high opposing pressure, disarms well on counterattacks, they are not world class players, yet, but they can be easily molded to be, because both have techniques, I see a little bit of Marquinhos in both, and are probably the future of Brazilian defense, since the editorial cites the aging of Real, I believe they are good indications aiming a potential.
It's better if Madrid just give a chance to Castilla players with Eder, Nacho and Alaba taking care of the central defence.
Jesus Vallejo did good with Granada and can come up too. What's with big teams and overloading their wage bill?
I prefer Toby or Boateng to Skriniar or Lacroix. We're not in good financial situation so buying a cheap but good CB will make sense
4 Options
1. Militao and Nacho as CB
2. Buy Kounde
3. Run a 3-5-2
4. Force Alaba into a CB position and let Miguel shine
These videos are always great!
what about Phil Jones tho? at his prime age. He is looking for a new club that can match his ambition to win CL and currently trying to force his way out from Old Trafford. Eventho i am not sure United will let him go with cost under 80mil
I think the most sensible transfer for any team right now would be Ibrahim Sangaré, as he can fit any role on a team.
Timing is perfect for Jonathan Woodgate to make his long awaited return to the Santiago Bernabeu
Hire a good manager and they'll make anything work...the manager is the most important thing. Ancelotti is great but he struggles without an all star squad, which Real don't have rn. Conte would have been a better choice.
I tried using the discount code you gave but it doesn't seem to work guys for manscaped
Fair point about Skriniar. Did you forgot that Alderwiereld player for Atletico Madrid, and maybe wouldn’t wanna join their biggest rival
considering budget I think we should go for Pau Torres to play beside Eder Militao but if I could pick any player I can it would be De Ligt
What about partnership of Militao and Nacho
They should stick to bringing in or promoting a young CB (that would be good enough as squad player) and use the 3 CBs that would all be at Alderweireld's level at least and possibly better. With the state of finances I can't see them affording a Lacroix or Kounde.
If the club really believe they need a ready made addition to complement the 3, then Boateng wouldn't be a bad choice. Free transfer, reasonable wage demands and had a great season starting for Bayern. Possibly a closer style/trait to Ramos and same age as Alderweireld
Toby Alderweireld makes so much sense it almost certainly won't happen.
Cristian Romero would be a good option too. Or De Vrij as a short term option.
Sensible Transfer Inter Milan: Replacing Hakimi, and why Bellerin is not a good idea.
1st point presented by Alex Stewart: Bellerin constantly fails at throw ins
I liked alaba, of course no-one can replace Ramos... When I saw alaba's position in chiesa goal in Euros, I am doubtful
