And there hasn't been any recent developments with their Spanish passports. So would've expected Tifo to take this into consideration and come up with a EU player as their sensible pick for RB. I'd also loved to see what their option for the RW/RM spot would've been if Asensio were to leave this summer.

The first part of the video is correct - the RB "issue" is not urgent but this is exactly the reason why there are 2 backups now (Odriozola & Vasquez) and Madrid already loaned w/ purchase option a "project" player - Vinicius Tobias, coincidently from the same team as Dodo. Not to mention that Dodo is not a viable option at all as he's 23 and he won't be able to be registered due to the 3 non-EU limit in Spain. Hence why Madrid went for a younger option who will be okay playing in Castilla until Rodrygo, Vinicius Jr and Militao get their Spanish passports. Even more baffling is the fact that the video doesn't address the main problematic areas of the team. 34yo Benzema's backup is literally Mariano Diaz (and Hazard as a false 9 possibly) which going into a long season is a bit of a suicide. The right-wing is entirely made up of make-shift options who play there because either their position is occupied by a great quality player (Rodrygo not playing LW due to Vini Jr being amazing + Valverde being played in a hybrid RCM/RW role in big games as Kroos & Modric still add a lot) or they are not good enough to justify a change of system (Asensio as a 10). Disappointing from Tifo and I'm usually a fan of their content.
Their Chelsea video was also disappointing. They didn't address the attack at all, despite Werner's struggle, Lukaku's loan and using Havertz as a false 9.

Perisic is virtually irreplaceable and we’re very light on reliable options at left wingback. The club also lost a few quality depth players at centreback (sweet old Rannochia in particular) and there have been rumours linking every starting CB at the club away from San Siro. With young players like Asallni and bellanova, as well as typically shrewd free transfers like Onana and Myhkitarian, there seems to be direction and a preference for undervalued young talent and proven veterans. Has the potential for a very interesting video and a very interesting summer.

He creates lots of chances with his dribbling, his pace is not exceptional but definetly good, good aerial presence and excellent crossing ability. Defensively he is decent in 1v1 situation and not really good in diagonals in the box
Instead of wasting a video on this, a club like Milan or Roma should’ve been done. More areas to improve as both sides need signings to take a step to the next level

As a Real Madrid fan i disagree on a lot of things at the club currently. I could sit here for hours and maybe write a book on it but as a fan from outside spain its difficult sometimes to find people with whom you can talk about madrid who actually follow the club with interest. Strange video this. As you stated, RB is not an area of immediate concern for Real. On the other hand, Real are in desperate need of a backup for Benzema and could also really do with a first choice option on the right wing.
I feel like this video was made just for the sake of saying one was done addressing Real Madrid. TBH, with the transfers that have been completed, there aren't any real problem areas or squad depth to be concerned with for the coming season. I do enjoy the Tifo content though. 🍻
I'm surprised they didn't mention the CF position. Real Madrid lost Bale and Jovic in the summer, if Benzema gets injured or doesn't play to the unbelievable standard he had this past season, then they might be in trouble. Benzema is already 34 and I think if anything, Real needs to have another reliable CF to back him up and allow him to rest for matches

I second that (about Alaba). Sure, he was good last season as a LCB, but with Rudiger coming into the team it looks like Alaba can be a joker option because of his versatility (he can even play in midfield but I doubt it would be necessary).

As a Real Madrid fan i disagree on a lot of things at the club currently. I could sit here for hours and maybe write a book on it but as a fan from outside spain its difficult sometimes to find people with whom you can talk about madrid who actually follow the club with interest. Not a fan of football twitter at all and a lot pf things which are said on social media is mostly for likes an retweets and these big accounts make it an eco chamber where only the popular opinion is valid. Talking about the club in person is so much more interesting than over the internet.
----I would still want a creative technical midfielder. A mid of Fede, cama and tchouameni seems to lack creativity. A lot of people seem to make it sound like it doesnt but i just cant get my head round it. The only way this works at all is if we become a side like liverpool of 2018-2020 with physical athletic midfielders. Bayern have goal scoring midfileders+creative ones, City have both aswell, barca have techincal creative mids even liverpool have Thiago who can unlock low blocks.....a move from kroos and luka to this midfield is like a polar opposite plan. I would rather Fede be a long term right back option with occasional fill ins in midfield and the wing.
-----Not convinced by Dani Carvajal. at all. he was a beast in his prime but modern football requires attacking fullbacks. That kind of moments magic will not work for every season like it did for 2021-2022. An attacking side like madrid need attacking players in fullbacks. Otherwise its natural when we attack, there are a lot less options than other big sides aroudn europe. Ferland mendy has the same problem. Him and carvajal cant seem to control the ball at times....Look at the techincal qualities in attack for robertson, alba, cancelo, trent, reece etc and compare with dani and mendy. I have high hopes for both Vinicius Tobias and Jesus Fortea. infact from having seem some comps fortea seems extremely technical as a fullback and we need players like that especially at a club like madrid
