Welcome to Vectornator Academy! This video series will be jam-packed with Vectornator Tutorials, from beginners to advanced, that will help you learn our tool step by step. You'll find that Vectornator is clean, intuitive, and most importantly, easy to learn.
In our past Academy lesson, Anna took us through each operation, one by one, and explained how they behave on a technical level. So let's move on to practice!
Since the best way to learn anything is through play, let's create two fun graphics using boolean operation. It's the best and easiest way to practice with simple shapes so you can get the hang of this seemingly complex design concept.
Hope you enjoy! Let us know what you think in the comments section below and subscribe for more Vectornator Tutorials, inspiration, and more.

Very good examples. Thanks a ton! 🙏🏼
Thanks for sharing! 🙌
These are so helpful!
Thank you
Thanks for all these tutorials! They are super helpful. One question: If i copy the circles, how can I set these blue lines which appear for placing the shapes symmetrically? If i tap with my finger it only works to put it horizontally, but I can‘t align it in the center of a shape for example.
I'am argentino, I like it, thanks
We're glad! Thanks for your comment
last example doesnt work for me somehow!
Is vectornator ever coming on android??
Hi! Thanks for writing! We will remain an Apple product for the foreseeable future
Is there a shape builder tool in Vectornator similar to the one in Illustrator
Hi! Thanks for writing. At the moment we do not have a Shape Builder Tool. But please take the time to upvote this feature suggestion here: feedback.vectornator.io/posts/138/add-shape-builder-tool-please
It will help us prioritise updates properly. Thank you so much!
How similar vectornetor and infinite design or who the best???

So im applying subtract function n it isn’t working? Am I doing something wrong?
So sorry to hear that this feature isn't working for you. Would you mind forwarding a screen recording of what is happening from your side to our Help Team via support@vectornator.io - they would be more than happy to assist!
Quick question. Ive followed the tutorial perfectly and even copied the color but for some reason when i get to the part at the end and select all the shapes to perform the subtract operation it changes my koalas color to the same color as the eyes and mouth. What should i do about this?
When you merge shapes with booleans, the color changes based on the shape on top. That is why your color changed. But anyway, you can change the color of your shape afterwards to your desired hue from the Style Tab or Color Widget. Hope this helps 🙌
The last exercise didn’t work for me. It turns the two circles into an outline and the “whiskers” just disappear.
those three lines should be created using rectangle tool
@@sureshreddy8123 interesting. I’ll give this a try again
