    Hello everyone,
    Today we're going to look at how you can design vector tattoos - and better yet, Sandra Staub is going to give us insight into her process of creating a flash sheet.
    Flash sheets are tools used by tattoo artists to display their artworks in a curated way that looks appealing to people who want to get tattooed.
    Sandra uses flash sheets as inspiration, and since she also offers her illustrations to be licensed for tattoos, it makes sense for her to prepare them as vectors so she can scale them to any size her buyer wants their tattoo to be.
    Fun fact - tattoos have been around for longer than you might think. The oldest known tattoos date back to 3250 BC! Tattoo art and body modification have been common since ancient times, and have ebbed in and out of cultural acceptance for thousands of years.
    So let's dive deep into this beautiful culture and learn how we can design your tattoos as vectors. So then they can be sold as merch (temporary tattoos, prints, stickers, etc), or to tattoo artists so they can tattoo them onto their clients. Since a tattoo is forever, this lesson is super important!

    I love how Vectornator and Procreate work together and promote each other’s apps. Two of my favorite design apps ever made.

    How do you do such straight lines while sketching? What are your settings for the pen?

    • @linearityhq
      @linearityhq  ปีที่แล้ว

      While using the 'Pen Tool', lines will automatically be very straight. It is of course possible to create curves with this tool also but if you want to stick to straight lines, we recommend setting the Node Type to 'Single Node'. You can read more about this here: www.vectornator.io/learn/pen-tool

      Hi! What do you mean by that? More of the vectorizing process?

      @@linearityhq we can’t see what you are doing. Putting the iPad in landscape would make it easier to see what you were doing.
