Unity Enemies Demo - RTX 3080 4K DLSS

Unity's latest demo - enemies, first unveiled earlier this year is now available for download. It's indeed a very impressive visual showcase of real-time rendering of human characters. In my opinion, the lady in this demo looks near perfect with no obvious uncanny valley at all. The footage is captured on my PC at 4K (1440p upscaled via DLSS), as you can see, this is simply a demo for showcasing Unity Engine's capability, the visual fidelity and techniques on display here are clearly not practical for video games applications due to how demanding it is on the GPU. An RTX 3080 at high settings 1440p upscaled can only run at sub 30fps during those demanding scenes, dropping to sub 20fps at ultra. So, running this on the consoles XSX/PS5 at decent resolutions & settings will be like a slide show, far from being playable.
