i am a racing noob, so could you please explain to me how it was a good recovery? It seemed pretty difficult, but i dont get how it was a good recovery
@@lesenfantsterribles2119 Most of the time, if you clip the grass on entry to a corner, its race over. You will spin into the barriers. But, he managed to keep it on track. Most F1 drivers cant even recover from such a mistake.
@Long Nguyen yes, the high amounts of downforce means the car tends to "snap" from a correction, then you lose all your downforce and careen into a barrier.
@Long Nguyen You need more speed for downforce. Even when going around high speed corners, you might have the rear-end just leave if you carry too much speed. If you try to correct and the car snaps in the other direction, you are sideways and won't have any aero elements to provide downforce.
This sounds so accurate, they just need to make the straight cut gears louder.

This game looks and sounds beautiful! I got a G29 this Christmas and I really only play ETS2 and ATS, this will probably be my first racing game because I heard it's pretty friendly to beginners. I'm very excited to play this! Also you're a good driver and that recovery at around 1:50 was awesome.

I am absolutely stunned by these graphics. I haven't played a driving game for decades (1993's Ridge Racer still impresses me) so it's mind-blowing to see the level of realism they have in games these days :-)

The whether transitioning is so smooth.
Dude the Jaw dropping graphics of rain , then thunderstorm then puddles and finally sun lights breaking through clouds... I own this game and just completed cart racing.. But i am so much excited now..

Looks and sounds great at first glance, but the high contrast and the intense sound is a strain on the eyes and ears after a few minutes.

country gaming It has nice graphics and everything, but, I've always considered it as a Gran Turismo clone, however that doesn't mean forza is a bad game, just the same idea of GT ported to xbox
country gaming Polyphony fucked the game from 5 onwards
it looks and sounds absolutely great. i hope it will look like this (well almost) on regular ps4. by now i have to be disappointed about GTS but instead i'm curious to figure what kept them away from applying dynamic time and weather. does it really look that great or physics are accurate to that level that forced them to abandon dynamic time and weather? we will see.
by the way i really enjoyed your somehow aggressive driving in some points. really suits a lambo
Pouya I'm sure framerate stability kept them from adding dynamic properties, at least for the regular PS4. I doubt they wanted to add dynamic weather/time on the PS4 Pro and not the original one
I can't see them not having Dynamic Weather changes on the normal PS4 and then have them on the Pro only...Both should have them from what I have seen so no worries there...that's not what they say in the description for the game...
DASamX5453 both pro and regular will have the same game features with pro capable of higher resolution and HDR. None of them will have dynamic weather and time that's for sure. My point is that project cars 2 delivers great sound and visuals with one the best simulation at solid 60 fps both on regular and pro. I've seen videos that prove this. So what exactly caused Polyphony Digital not to include changing time and weather? Is it going to have that amazing top of the line visuals or simulation precision? Don't know. All I have to do is wait and see it myself.
It's not really a selling point to me one way or the other but I still can't find anywhere on the Net where they say that Dynamic Weather and Time only is on the PS4 Pro...I just keep seeing that it will look better on the Pro Version...but they do keep saying Dynamic Weather and Time for ALL versions...guess I will see Friday Night...Looks like it's doing it on the comparison between the PS4 and Pro version on here...
gran turismo does not have dynamic time and weather no matter pro or normal ps4. it will just look better on pro.

2023, PROJECT CARS 2 still is so gorgeous. Even Coco Hayashi loves this game and Ren Hazuki had to spend $300 only to buy this game on PS4!
Is it me, or does the car your driving always have a predominantly louder engine note that drowns out everything else? The engine note does not differ in volume much depending on where the camera is in the replay also.
I'm buying my rtx 2060 tomorrow so I can finally play 4k games. I'll download the PC2 demo and play it the day my card arrives, hopefully on Sunday.

sounds good but why the rest of the cars make no sound?
Forza is able to do this without you being too distracted from your own car. Not having the sounds of other cars around you makes the environment feel empty IMO, i like hearing the nose of a car passing me or being passed.
You can disable other car sounds in the options stop fighting over a bunch of pixels wtf

Let me tell you about the "Racetrack Coach" App.
Especially in Sim Racing it's really about those very tiny details. And its important to collect as many details as possible for each racetrack and each car. But where to put them? Write them down? I think it's way easier to put all of these notes into an app and got it with you all the time. So if you got any ideas later in bed, it would be easy to add them to the notes. You can share all of your notes with your teammates, that means everyone can write down important notes for each corner and everyone will get these notes and learn from them as well - so you can expect that everyone out of your team is on the same "knowledge level" and should be able to go for the same pace and push each other (maybe someone has a good advice for that corner which makes him fast and another one got another corner which makes him fast - so put them together and be faster together).
Furthermore you can watch and add onboard videos to the app (in your private diary) to take notes while watching the video if you're not at home and spend some time improving and finding own faults.
There are some more functions so I sadly won't be able to write them all down, but we're steady working on improving the app for sim racers as well!

Looks even to me, but I had to download the video as TH-cam won't play it smoothly for some reason. I think it may be something to do with it being 4k but that shouldn't make any difference as I was only watching 1080p.

This game has a major problem with flickering shadows. Hard to believe they shipped the game with such an intrusive visual glitch.
Can be fixed with a Patch later..no big deal...
Hard to believe Forza 7 was shipped with so shitty engine sounds too.
I remember when shadows were supposed to flicker because it was the only way to simulate transparency. But that's going back a bit.
I have heard many complaints about project cars being terrible with a controller. But I really liked the first one I played with a wheel at a friends house. But I can't afford to get a wheel but I really want project cars 2, is project cars 2 worth it even though I dont have a wheel? I really want this game

it does look nice and the sound is very nice also, but they have shadows problems , i hope they patch it to fix that

jachob69 well forza on Xbox one x does. Go watch the new gameplay. But PCs looks amazing and I can't wait for it to come out. Now if this game was on 4K right now I'm sure it would look just as good as forza.
In reply to both of you i have looked at Forza's graphics and while they're really good i honestly do not think they are anywhere near the level of this. this looks real.
This doesnt look real at all, just looking on the roadside uplands and fences on it.. fans and shelters .. that's not even close to real dude... Forza Horizon 3 looks more real than this
I've never had any issues on Forza on pc and I dont have Xbox so I played only Horizon 3 and that 6: Apex .. both were running great after a few months of playing.. I'm not saying that PC2 looks bad, it's not.. it looks really natural and real .. but it's not THAT REAL once again .. if we are talking about environment .. but the details of cars .. that's the #1 :) (sorry for my bad english)
Well i dont know why is that happening to you, but on my 960m in a laptop I still have constant 60 FPS on medium/high (Forza Horizon 3) but I agree with you on that single core usage .. we're not in 2007 or so lol

Sometimes, it's better you just focus on the track you know it well. Even for me, when i learn about new track that i have never played on it. It's better to know the track naturally in your mind like you know well the way from office to home than you memorized every single curved from the map

The "game killer" for me is that I can hear acceleration, but I can't actually see it. Car is screaming from 2nd to 4th gear and speed "looks" exactly the same in outside cam. Just unrealistic to me.
In the setting you can make the camera move more agressive when you turn and go over bumps, this makes it look way faster.
