      @@bloomwithgrace88It isn't too hard you just have to get to know your cam and then just keep trying with the settings until you mastered them. Then just make sure to shoot in raw so you can edit it nicely.

    A mode exists, Exposure compensation exists. Please use them.

    The thing with phone cameras is it does several pictures at varying exposures, select the best exposure fore each part (subject, foreground, middleground, background), and combine them into one. So the exposure of each elements are different. So the sun and clouds would appear darker and the shadowy parts will appear lighter. It feels unrealistic to see every detail.
    With cameras, you set the exposure values for all of them and achieve a compromise exposure. You can, of course, change the levels post-production but I think it's magical when you just set the exposure to all elements of the picture and just accept the shot for what it is. That's why people like the one shot on the camera more than the iphone.
    Edit: most cameras do have metering options and multi-focus but the editing phones do to manipulate the exposure is much heavier. A little too heavy for me.

    The Sony image was under exposed, whether on purpose or as a result of user error. Cellphones outperform stand alone cameras if the user is not a photographer. If it were me, I would have used either an 85mm f/1.4 or a 135mm f/1.8 lens and used a flat picture profile to get the best dynamic range. Dedicated cameras, particularly interchangeable lens systems, outperform cellphones on even the camera's worst day. The cellphone camera can artificially replicate bokeh, but nothing beats the real thing, in my opinion.

    The problem I see with a mobile phone vs a camera body is the RAW image you get. I notice that on iPhone your pictures will be oddly smoothed out and edgeless when zoomin in

    I’ve taken some of my best photos with the iPhone14promax … it’s not designed to take perfect finished photos, you need to think of the iPhone photos as like LOG … you need to edit them and they turn out amazing with colour adjustments and light room fixing … the iPhone is insanely powerful in the photography world now

    Hello! I found a listing for $720 for 6500 with 50mm 1.8 . Is this a good deal and how does this camera and video compare agaist a iphone 14pro? Both 24mp and can do 4k60 too? New to the game need help!

      sounds like a good deal, if you are willing to learn photography there is no comparison.
      If you are a sucker for low light or portrait photography the 1.8 with 6500 will kill any mobile camera.
      but You won't get much out of the camera if you arent even willing to learn basic stuffs like aperture, Sutter speed and iso

      @@alvinloh9068You might have confused the iPhone and A6500. The one on the left is the A6500. The one on the right, where the picture is saturated, is the iPhone. People tend to prefer a more vivid picture, where iPhone saturates it to look good. But from a technical standpoint, the A6500 does look better on the untrained eye.

    • @HAPPLIP
      @HAPPLIP 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      A6500 does shoot RAW as well, and a much bigger sensor, therefore, better color and highlight dynamics.
      Any phone camera sensor is so small that it relies on digital rendering to create high-quality images.
      Bigger sensors will always outweigh smaller ones.
