Bought this fun timeless pattern skirt.👌 Fabric (pink linen) has already been cut and now I just have to sew it together. With this clear tutorial I will manage! I still have some time for this. After all, this will be a spring /summer skirt. thanks you!👍 Greetings from Belgium😚
I absolutely love your work and I hope you make more patterns in the future. I really like that the clothes don’t feel outdated and I can actually wear them out in public lol
Thank you! 🥰🥰 I don't think I'll be uploading anything like that I'm afraid. I want this channel to be consistent and contain only tutorials on how to make things using my patterns. 😁 I'm sure there are lots of great tutorials already there 🥰
Suggestions: to simplify can use 3/4 inch gross grain ribbon instead of sewing the belt, and gather the waistline of the skirt attachment by sewing wide stitches and pulling thread. This way do not have to use pattern to cut panels. Sew by hand if it does not work out. Can skip the curve on bottom of skirt and sew closure 1/2 to 3/4 of opening on left side with enough space to slide into, and sew on velcro strips. The ribbon tie should be cut with enough length to tie bow, and on a slant whith edge zig zagged or stitched.
Thank you so much 🤗 ❤️ you could perhaps double fold the fabric and topstitch or run the edge with a zig zag stitch, fold 1cm and topstitch. Hope that helps ! xx
Wow such a helpful video! Im planning to purchase this pattern but i want to check with you if its possible to make it maxi length? And is there anyway to secure the skirt with stitching so it doesn’t come undone when i run after my toddler
Of course, you can make a maxi length just by extending front and back panels and the front panel underneath goes all the way to the side and it won't show any legs or barely while walking :)
Hello, I am new to this world of clothing but I love your channel, I would recommend that you put the measurements on the pieces because like me, many of us who visit your channel but do not speak English find it difficult to understand the measurements or the recommendations you give. Thank you for your wonderful work and for teaching us all this.
You can make a size up by following the pattern grading but with wrap over styles it's quite easy to fit multiple sizes so I think size 14 would be just fine. If you don't want to do any extra work. Hope that helps xx ❤️
@@tintofmint So linen doesn't need to be lined. When you do add a lining does that mean it needs to be dry-cleaned? Do you have to serge the edges that are inside the waist band? How does linen take to button holes.

I’m really excited to try to make my own clothes and now it seems so much easier knowing you make patterns and show us how to put them together 😍
That's so exciting! Glad you find it all helpful 🤗😍
I find surging the most satisfying.
I agree! Using serger is so much fun 🤗
@@tintofmint Right now I'm hand sewing but I'm planning to buy a sewing machine and a serger soon. Anyway, your tutorials are so amazing. 💖

How great! Let me know how it went! :)
Gracias muy bueno 👍
Great video! If I wanted to make this slightly longer, could I extend it easily from your pattern? I’d like it to be mid-calf length.
Absolutely, it's very easy to make it a mid-calf or mini version ☺️

Hello! A lovely skirt, I love all your clothes! Which stitch would you reccomend for the finishes if I do not have an overlock machine?
Thank you! :)

@@tintofmint thank you for your kind answer! Do you believe cotton poplin would work for this skirt?
Absolutely, I think any fabric would work as long as it's not too see through ☺️

As I mentioned in the video I'm using my sewing pattern. Here is a link 😉 www.etsy.com/uk/listing/790619485/solene-wrap-midi-skirt-digital-pattern
What kind of fabric did you use in the video? Its beautiful!
It's linen 🤗
You have explained nicely but please tell us how to take the measurement. Enjoyed watching this video.
Here you go ;) www.etsy.com/uk/listing/790619485/solene-wrap-midi-skirt-digital-pattern
tell us how to saw same wrap pant plz
Does this skirt have a visible slit?
Not really, the front panels wrap over eachother and even while you walk legs aren't exposed. Hope that helps :)
Nothing related to your video.. But your nail paint is bomb 💥
🤗 Thank you!
You’re pattern only goes to US 12, how would I need to adjust it if I am a US 14? Thank you!

@@tintofmint thank you!!
