CarGurus tweet out on 18th Nov 2019 that, "Meet the newest member of the Mustang family. The Mustang Mach-E packs 459 horsepower, 612 lb-ft of torque, and rear-wheel drive. Who says electric cars can't be cool?" Though Ford themselves say the 'rear wheel' version of the Mustang Mach-E to be released sometime in around Autumn 2020 has a standard range version giving 254 hp and 306 ft/lbs torque with extended range 281 hp and 306 ft/lbs torque. (Just the one torque figure given for both RW versions). Ford are to do an all-wheel drive Mustang Mach-E version with standard range version with 254 hp and 417 ft/lbs torque with an extended range version of that giving 332 hp and 417 ft/lbs torque. (Just the one torque figure given for both those all-wheel drive versions). EDIT: we hear, "For the time being, Ford's electric vehicles still qualify for the $7,500 federal tax credit, Ford executives said. They expect Mach-E buyers will be able to get that full tax credit for at least the first year it's available". WOW! so as low as $36,395 then for the base model. That'll take sales away from tesla, great. Motor1..com say that later in 2021 around spring time Ford intends to bring out the Mach-E GT Performance, the 'Mach-E GT Performance', note! the GT performance name. That is indeed supposed to produce those figures mentioned by CarGurus, but is 'only' supposed to be in All-Wheel Drive. A bit of a misleading original tweet then! So all in all, far better not to restrict yourselves to a small amount of text on twitter and to balls it all up!. Not when you have an entire main website to do it on, (Which BTW to be fair does give a good selection of new & used cars for sale, a handy site for folks to check out, a well put together website). And of cause CarGurus also have this YT page to get a message across. Twitter is a stunted medium, designed to dumb down the intellect and prose of both the poster and reader. It has succeed, now many can't read or write more than one line of text almost anywhere. Stunted their creative reasoning to the odd political based bark and general grunt. As for the VW Arteon, looks too much like a VW Farteon, why buy one just for envious snidey cronies at work to take the Mick calling it a Farteon. Didn't VW learn their lesson with the VW Touareg which looks remarkably like the VW Toerag. Almost as if the Germans purposely want their English speaking customers to be relentlessly made fun of, paying all that money to be humiliated. Not my bag. WHO CARES what those words mean in Germany, big deal what they mean, it is what they can be construed for elsewhere by the twitter type goons that also matters.
If they would raise it 4" or so it could compete against the Outback. It's really priced in no man's land. It's not a premium car and it's running into some nice SUV's.
I personally love the styling
Wait until you discover Audi.
Good looking car in search of a more powerful engine. Needs a six cylinder.
A7??? It is (maybe) an FWD alternative to an AWD A5 sportback... maybe
For $39k or more I'd rather take a Kia Stinger GT
If only it offered FWD on the SEL premium and runs on regular, I’d buy it.

Buick Regal Sportback....
I'm not sure why no one has done a direct comparison on those two cars yet

Kia Stinger over this all day. Proper rwd chasis and a nicer looking interior. The Stinger is fun to drive and faster.
Long boi Sudan
