- Simone reviews the latest 2019 Volvo XC40 T4 Inscription
After our earlier review of the XC40 T5 in the entry-level Momentum, Volvo told us that Australia would get new T4 Momentum FWD, T4 Inscription AWD, and T5 R-Design AWD and here they are.
The XC40 featured in this video is a T4 with 140 kW of power and 300 Nm of torque. It’s paired with an 8-speed Geartronic which transfers the power to all four wheels.
The XC40 in this setup reaches 100 in 8.5 seconds and tops out at 210 km/h.- engine
There is another option - a T5 in the R-Design trim. It has 185 kW and 350 Nm and it’s noticeably faster, reaching 100 in just 6.4 seconds.
Volvo’s all-new subcompact SUV has already proven a very popular choice.

The problem with Volvo and a lot of European car companies is the lack of ventilated seats.
I use my heated seats about 5 times a year.
Id use ventilated seats a lot from September to April every year. I think they’re more important in Australia.

These practical plain speaking reviews are so helpful. Thank you!!! I bought this exact model, its a great car but slightly underpowered for its weight. It's slow to accelerate which is painful if you're trying to dart in slow traffic.

They have been owned by Geely since 2010. Have you heard or seen anything bad about Volvo since then? I have only been impressed by the cars they have put out in that time.
