Really cool video! Question, At the 4 minute 34 second mark, you're ridding partner is negotiating a really steep down hill turn. Where exactly is that turn? Which side of what pass?
Don’t know exactly but it’s between corkscrew and hurricane passes. It was steep and tight and probably the worst of all the switchbacks but there was a turnout that can be used if needed.
@@TheWilly350 I think you followed Dry Gulch Rd? That's not on the COBDR. I think you reconnected on CR11 near where the bathroom is. The route follows CR11 all the way from the top of Corkscrew until it meets CR10 at the bathroom.
@@MeerkatADV Sounds like you know that area better than me as I've only ridden through there twice. I've just looked at my recorded gpx track from that day and here's what I can say. After staying in Ouray, we picked up the BDR off US550 near Ironton and were on the CO BDR route until Animas Forks, where we left the track. Corkscrew, Hurricane, and these switchbacks are all in between 550 and Animas Forks, so I think this switchback is on the BDR track.
Great video! Edited perfectly and no music...perfecto!
Great video Willy!
What were your high Temps and lows?
Encounter much rain if any?
We had really good weather with mild temps and no rain.
Really cool video!
