Did your (non US citizen) NP pass give a discount for being a senior? A lot of the taxpayer paid (USFS- dept of ag- USDA) campsites have a place of the fee envelope to enter a # from your pass that saves you 50%.
The senior program is fantastic as it includes a lifetime option at very reasonable rates. However, you have to be a US citizen or permanent resident and at least 62 years old, so I don't qualify.
I can't imagine how much enjoyment to ride light-and-fast on a motorcycle through Yellowstone. Spectacular!
