So they ran out of green boards and started using blue ones and were naughty and slapped the word pro on it . awesome..
The pro also comes with a remote and dual console and 4k Android TV OS. Also the chipset is better quality and the settings for the games have been tweaked so they all play better with correct resolutions, sound settings and controller mapping. These were basically ripped from someone's build from arcade punks and flashed to an SD card.
All in all for someone with limited tech knowledge it's actually a pretty good set up for the price. The biggest let down is the pro is still only 1gb ram... Should be 3 if not 4.
For those in the know... Get a Raspberry Pi4 with a cool custom case and additional cooling. Then over clock it. Buy a decent micro SD card and download your own image from arcade punks and flash it to the SD. All in all you will pay nearly double and it will take up hours of your time... But you will get a better more reliable system and setup.
If this was done better: different case options, an over clock to 1.8Ghz, powered cooling, 4gb+ ram and better quality controllers... I would be happy to pay up to £139.99 for something of that quality... Or even £119.99 for it to come like the raspberry pi in a crappy case and then have additional case designs you can buy for it later for like £19.99 each so you can swap it out.

Most of the times when chinese manufacturers include multiple pads for things like RAM or NAND it's because this gives them the opportunity to use the cheapest components at the time. This way they can use 1*1GB or 2*512MB depending on price, that's why the NAND chip also has a 48-pin layout.
According to a video I watched on another channel, the 905X CPU is clocked considerably higher than the 905M. That makes sense since it would explain the larger heatsink on the Pro model. But yes, they both have the same amount of ram.
Exactly so they are not the same. I'm coming back to this guys channel again. Be more comprehensive in your examination. CPU speed does make a difference.
@@RayR so does this mean the games will perform faster and less laggy? cos to be honest ive heard these consoles can be really jumpy sometimes so even a little difference would be a big factor.
Nice comparison. I would say the Pro has potential for more RAM, and its cooling is already better than the non-Pro.
How do you change the quality of the picture with all the consoles (n64,psp,ps,nes) ect coz mine doesnt look like yours. Can u make a video how to get better picture and resolution for the games on each console

I have had Super Console X for about 8 months, & completed 5 out of 5 metroid & 8 out of 10 legend of zelda games, & Nintendo 64 majora's mask froze up when i was about 40% into it & master quest froze up when i was about 85% into it, & after shutting it off & turning it back on, the game file i was working on, was gone, very annoying !
"PRO" is really nowhere near the truth... even the difference between the 905 vs 912 series is quite big, though the later is not supported anymore, for something called "pro" they could at least have tried upgrading to a 922x. If at least you've got 1 SD card (whichever way you got it), a TV box is a better choice (and if you have access, a 3d printed case will make up for the rest).
Just in case you're feeling lucky: i've got a few RAM chips laying around, you'd like to try and upgrade yours ? 😜

Time to tell the truth. I bought the most expensive one. The x pro is complete trash! Do not waste money! 64 and PS1 are virtually unplayable. The graphics aren't even close to ok. The controllers freak out, console freezes and won't save games, all of this literally the day I bought it. I was so excited only to find out it's just a scam. The only thing even playable is NES and SNES. There are much better consoles out there. Don't waste money
The 50,000 games on the 256GB card make it worth the money.
Just buy an Android Box. Same thing but with better specs

So what is a better quality retro console than the Super Console X ? I mainly want to play SNES, Sega Saturn/32x/Dreamcast and 1980-1990s arcade games. I have a huge collection of NES, Genesis PS1 and PS2 games so I don't care about those.Thanks!

amlogic s905x is still mediocre hardware, needs amlogic s922x for better frame rate in Dreamcast games. DC games runs to 40-50 frames with flycast core.

Regarding the SUPER CONSOLE X, SUPER CONSOLE X PRO. I am mostly interested in the MAME and ARCADE emulators for the classic arcade games. I am confused about the amount/number of games offered on the MAME & ARCADE emulators. Does the amount of games offered on these 2 emulators (MAME & ARCADE) increase or decrease with each memory option? 64G, 128G, 256G? Are there more games on the MAME & ARCADE emulators with the 256G/128G option? Are there fewer games offered in the 64G option? I eagerly await some kind of help. Thank you once again.

Basically they got a different chip manufacturer and slapped the word pro on the device. But it's all the same capability.
The T-95 Max blows both of these away. 32/64 gig internal storage, 4 gig of ram. Amlogic 905x with CPU at 2.0Ghz. But you gotta set your own card up.

I know you get this question a lot, and I've watched pretty much all your reviews, which would you say is the best emulation box for consoles like PS1, N64, Dreamcast, and maybe GameCube?

If you want gamecube emulation, you need a lot of power. Got a really cheap pc with athlon 200ge connected to my TV, emulates gamecube and wii upscaled to 720p. Depending on the market, something similar might be interesting to you (some super small form factor lenovo desktop for example could prove interesting as long as igpu is capable enough).

@@seththebeatmxchine for gamecube get an oh wii. And the hdmi out plug for 20 bucks. You can mid the wii to play everything but dreamcast and PS1
It's junk in my opinion. I've tried 2 of them. I've returned 2 of them.
I ordered the regular one almost 3 months ago and it barely got to me a couple days ago. I don't think it's worth it. I paid 100 for 50,000k games but most of the games were on retro handheld, consoles or arcades that I know I am literally NEVER going to play. It only had like 25 n64 games and didn't even have all the pokemon games. It had most of them but not white or b2w2. Weirdly enough it did have black. I was quite happy it had 3ds but 3ds doesn't feel too playing on one screen. It only had a couple of psp games too. My ps vita has so much more n64 games and just games in general I will play
Edit: it has ds games, not 3ds games
And it also only has 25 ps1 games
256gb 50k has 260 n64 games

On the pro version. Are there electrical traces to the 2nd empty ram spot? I wonder if it is dual channel ram. If it is dual channel. Then GameCube might be possible.

Does analog sound output through jack work on your console? I connect console using hdmi cable to my monitor and I try to get sound using jack connected to console but can't hear anything :(

Which ever version you buy remember once you put it in sleep mode there is no way to hit a button to get it out of sleep mode and believe me I tried unless you physically turn the power button often on and off if anyone knows a way to get the system out of sleep mode let me know because I tried every button doesn’t work.
I know a way, don't put it in sleep mode!

Nice Video :) I have a question. Is there a way to configure the controls in ppsspp on the console itself? Because none of my controls is mapped when I open a ps portable game. And I cannot go in the Menu. All the other systems are fully mapped.
The pro board might even be worse with only a single ram chip so it can't run dual channel

Off-topic: @Wicked Gamer: About the controllers of the Super Console X (original): I recently got my SCX and I was a bit worried about the controllers. Yes, they feel cheap and they weigh allmost nothing BUT I think they are ok. Tested them on PC/ PSC, they are plug and play, no lag and buttons/dpad/analog sticks work fine. Only problem is the dead-zone on the analog sticks. They go from 0 to 100% if you move the stick a few milimetres. Thanks for your great video's !!!
