Even if you own a copy of every game on the console it's not legal. All the super console X boxes represent probably the best value retro games experience you can buy. Great to give to your kid so they can play the games mum and dad played as kids without spending a fortune on original hardware and carts! Or to stop the kids playing with your treasured collection! And for me just having almost instant access to almost every game you ever owned between 1975 and 2003. Which is very cool. I love my SCX PRO.
I normally have little interest in these sort of emu boxes, but at this price (£30) I'm having one. I plan to keep all my original consoles upstairs for use while I'm in bed (as I'm disabled) and have this unit for sat downstairs. Seems bloody perfect for the job.
Great video John, thank you. Is there anywhere I can find a list of games? Specifically looking for NBA Jam TE for MAME as well as NFL Blitz for DC - Thanks!
Oh man this is perfect for me. I hate having to hunt down roms and do t really have time to fiddle with pc settings. Definitely looking into this one. The price isn't insane either.
I bought the one that looks like a mini SNES before Christmas. Worth getting just for the fact several emulators for these machines are a nightmare to set up.
I have been looking at the various systems that are out that come with 60,000 games and they are running for 400 to 600 bucks. Getting this for 80 is a great deal.
xbox original coinOPs ultimate with 63000+ games in 2005-2010 the package was 80GB torrent but back then n64 was garbage and anything newer didnt work yet
I was expecting a 50,000 video game emulator to be garbage but I am very impressed, Hancock. Best of all, the price is affordable so thank you, John Hancock.
Thank you John. This is exactly what I have been looking for my collection. Iam a retro game Collector and space is very limited to me being that I live in New York City. So this is perfect. I was looking to buy something like this for a while and I just watched your video and jumped the gun.You are a legend 👏.
Been looking for something like this after I decided I don't want loads of consoles and games lying around not to mention the huge cost. I'm far from a casual gamer, but maybe I am these days in the sense I got bored of games, but I like the idea of having most of them which I can jump into and play for nostalgia or general interest, especially the older stuff. I will probably buy this, thanks for bringing it to my attention.
If you were into Amiga games back in the day I would recommend you buy the RETROSTATION because that one has the same consoles but it also includes Amiga emulator with tons of games! I used my own wireless mini-keyboard (not included) and used it to play classic adventures like Monkey Island and especially the Leisure Suit Larry, King's Quest, Police Quest and Space Quest games! 90s Sierra was the best!!
This is an insane deal! I got bought a NES when I was 6 or 7 and my parents tried to get me to complete games before buying me a new one, single games also cost more than this whole package in the 80s! I can’t even imagine what I’d have thought about something like this back then. I have seen similar consoles before but expected the emulation to be poor, even as a learning tool to brush up on a lot of old games this has to be worth it. I’ve spent £70 on PS5 games I haven’t even bothered installing! Really impressed, like a lot of people I thought John was going to say something along the lines of “yeah it has all this stuff, but it all runs terribly and is a bad way to experience these games”, I’m going to get one. I do collect, but realistically, I’m not collecting 50,000 games unless Elon Musk works out a way we can live to be 1000 years old! Even then, boxed NES games are going to be expensive in 1000 years!
Surprised it performs so well for that price. The major step in emulator console deals is finding something that can reliably do "all" PS2 games, normally you need a certain Nvidia Shield model for that horsepower while I just went for a modded PS3 (which is large and not silent, clunky and not using solid state storage). We'd all love to play original games on original hardware, "You want this Super Mario Bros 1 cart that barely survived a house-fire? That'll be $75. Should have picked it up in 2019 for $5 instead, deal with it".
To be fair, these kind of things are good if you (like myself) aren't into setting stuff up on PC and tracking down arcade game files. Seems to work great! And its pretty cheap!
@Mystic I think I've ordered a Warhammer model part from them, but it was so long ago. So I can't comment on the website as it is now. But I will say when I buy online I do use PayPal whenever possible, just because you can enable another authorization process.
I have one of these & it is a brilliant little piece of kit - as long as you limit your expectations. It runs everything up to 16 bit really well, even playstation emulation (at least with the installed games) is really good N64 is hit & miss however, remember this is just a repurposed android tv box in a (really cool) fancy case. That said, the 64gb version (33000 games) is more than enough for everyone, you don't just have to use the included controllers and you can copy everything off the card onto your pc to create your own emulation setup if you want. Great little system though!

I've got to Super Console X Pro, this is virtually exactly the same as this one, I only ever played the Mega Drive a little bit back in the day and got it now though 😊. Its so nice to just go onto a system and play some games straight out the box.
Man, I’ll probably pick one of these up. I’ve added a bunch of roms to my NES and SNES classic, added an optical drive emulator to an old Dreamcast, and bought a Retroid Pocket 2+ for PS1 and other consoles. But if i can have everything here in one package, I have no reason to not pick one up, even if it’s of only moderate quality.
I bought this right away after seeing your video its a good price and has stuff I have been wanting to play but the emulators are hard to set up. So thanks for the recommendation!!
I played Colecovision, and TI/99/4A, and you never see emulation for the TI, but, I went back and played "Venture" on my modded Xbox. Wow! Gaming was intense back in the early 80s. Is there Coleco on this? TI, i doubt, because you have to press keyboard keys to start game.
Love these little cheap Android boxes. I managed to pick up a cheap "Arcade Box" version of this with clone PS controllers for £40 delivered. It's completely loaded and surprisingly handles emulation quite well for what is basically a low spec Android box (some early version of the Amlogic S905 CPU with Mali 450 GPU... Nothing recent).
Considering what I paid for to build my 70,000 entry Raspberry Pi 3+ "NESPi", £61 for the max load is actually a pretty good deal. As not only did I have to buy the Pi but the NESPi case, the 32g card, a image file from ebay to fill that 32g but to be fair it was fully set up with Retroarch all configured, plus controllers, a little fan for the case and a power supply for the Pi and a decent HDMI cable for the Pi and that comes to a lot more than the £61 by my reckoning.
Exactly who I was looking for... trying to understand how this compares to a Raspberry Pi... can you share more of how they differ? Trying to figure out if the Raspberry is worth it spending more for.
So this may seem like a stupid question but in theory is this system illegal? How do they sell it if it is illegal? Seems to me if they turn a blind eye to it it must not be illegal.
I have purchased several of the super console x pro that i actually found at one of my local goodwill stores. Works pretty good on a lot of the games including ps1 and n64
Yes, I agree with jamalais - John, you certainly give your opinion straight up, talking about products for what they are. No more, no less. Thanks again.
To make the screen larger on the gameboy emulators, press both analogue sticks st the same time , press B, then go to VIDEO, then SCALING, ASPECT RATIO, then select CORE PROVIDED, then click both sticks again and HEY PRESTO! Full screen gameboy, or whatever emulator you like! Hope this helps
Pretty dissapointing that there are only 54 PS1 games on the 128GB version. I was expecting at least 200, considering how that is arguably the most popular console.
I picked up the Super Console X Pro and after a year it’s still hooked up to my TV and played regularly. The rechargeable battery’s i got with it still charge up great and hold there charge. But this for $40 WTFF that’s fantastic. I can only think it’s now that price because something new is on the horizon
Awesome to see bud. I’m a 47yr old gamer myself. I have a couple of modded consoles, one system has 25,000 games and the other 20,000 on it. More games than I couldn’t finish in 10 life times haha. It’s nice to see other gamer veterans that also appreciate some gems that younger generations have missed out on and can now play. Thank you for sharing
I have successfully used a 8bitdo wired controller and the @games Legend mini with this box. What I would like to see is something akin to "controller profile" so you can have a group of settings for fighting games, shooters etc.
Thank you for this video, John. Just received my Console after only waiting eight days (China to England), even with the Chinese New Year upcoming! Box damaged and rattling inside machine! Okay, just the LED casing loose, easy to clip back in. Very pleased with it, although some games don't work (Mame games say Emulator wrong?). For simple Plug in and Play, it's worth it. See you in about 30 years :)
Got mine for £40 delivered to the UK with the smallest memory card and about 30k games. Really impressed with it and seems to emulate everything upto the mid 90s well including Dreamcast etc. Gutted I didnt go for the 50k games version as I've missed out on the Sharp X68000 and Amiga stuff. One of the controllers stopped working in the first week but other than that I have ZERO complaints for the money. It's even packaged quite well!

How long did it take to arrive?
I played Colecovision, and TI/99/4A, and you never see emulation for the TI, but, I went back and played "Venture" on my modded Xbox.
Wow! Gaming was intense back in the early 80s.
Is there Coleco on this? TI, i doubt, because you have to press keyboard keys to start game.
No Coleco/TI
Not bad at all for under $35. I like these type of videos that gives you options.
As not only did I have to buy the Pi but the NESPi case, the 32g card, a image file from ebay to fill that 32g but to be fair it was fully set up with Retroarch all configured, plus controllers, a little fan for the case and a power supply for the Pi and a decent HDMI cable for the Pi and that comes to a lot more than the £61 by my reckoning.
lag though, you need a crt.
Exactly who I was looking for... trying to understand how this compares to a Raspberry Pi... can you share more of how they differ? Trying to figure out if the Raspberry is worth it spending more for.
Man console looks amazing all the systems you can play on this just crazy
Big thanks for the video. Just ordered the 70k+ version. Really hoping that it is as good as you say. :)
Thanks for reviewing this for us man!
Ok the price is actually pretty reasonable on this one. I’d rather use my own builds, but that is a neat little hardware kit for the cost, ngl.
I found it for 39.99
Thanks for posting. Very informative.
Yup! And I paired it with a Logitech wireless controller. Really good to scratch that retro itch.
Yes, I agree with jamalais - John, you certainly give your opinion straight up, talking about products for what they are. No more, no less. Thanks again.
Great tip, bought one on Amazon 5 mins ago.
Very helpful and thank you.
You can't lose You can only win with this one.
And not one single
" Ball Hair Shaving Ad"....
Good stuff
Done! I hope they have the classic Alien and Predator games 😊. Thank you for the video you put up.
Pretty dissapointing that there are only 54 PS1 games on the 128GB version. I was expecting at least 200, considering how that is arguably the most popular console.
Wow :-O that lot video games on this mini video game console this thing. By the way awesome video man 😎!
Great info! Thanks for sharing John! 😄👍👍
Hi, I have a question if I may. Does the console save the games progress automatically or do you have to save the progress manually? Thanks
Most of the games don't save
I picked up the Super Console X Pro and after a year it’s still hooked up to my TV and played regularly. The rechargeable battery’s i got with it still charge up great and hold there charge. But this for $40 WTFF that’s fantastic. I can only think it’s now that price because something new is on the horizon
Great vídeo, Mr. Hancock... And great report...✌🏻🙌🏻
You are most welcome.
One consol many of these don't have and was huge fan was Turbo Graphic 16
John, have you got a library update soon? MIss watching you build up that bad boy
I have successfully used a 8bitdo wired controller and the @games Legend mini with this box. What I would like to see is something akin to "controller profile" so you can have a group of settings for fighting games, shooters etc.
Great review, order placed . Thanks !
This has me wanting to hook up my retro pie to my pvm. I recently found a hdmi to composite adapter at goodwill.
Thanks for showing us this! This thing looks amazing!
I play mine using a PlayStation 3 Madcatz brawl pad , it’s shaped just like a SEGA Saturn controller
Your gonna make me buy one.
Thanks for the video review John.
Wow, this is a great way to get an instant "collection" of games! It' remarkable that it also has Intellivision, Atari systems and the Odyssey 2!
Just wish it had Colecovision. Any all in-one systems like these that also has ColecoVision games?
are the controls on intellivison all working?
Got mine for £40 delivered to the UK with the smallest memory card and about 30k games. Really impressed with it and seems to emulate everything upto the mid 90s well including Dreamcast etc. Gutted I didnt go for the 50k games version as I've missed out on the Sharp X68000 and Amiga stuff. One of the controllers stopped working in the first week but other than that I have ZERO complaints for the money. It's even packaged quite well!
Do the games come ready to play? I’ve seen some ppl say you must download
@@bigplb2133 All games were ready to play on mine. :)
@@subliminalvcr nice! Just ordered mine off Amazon, was a bit worried haha
Thank you so much for reviewing this console. I'm collecting video games, consoles and home computers for 40 years (1st one was a pong clone).
This console is a wonderful thing to check out systems I don't own like the atari 5200 which was never available in Switzerland / Europe.
This is cool, i modded my snes mini and ehh, just takes too much time, very little space. Got the 256g for 80 bucks, not bad. thanks man.
I'm curious to know what the Amiga list of games are. Loved the Amiga.
Me 2, still have one with original brick hard drive 😊
for me it was all about the super Nintendo RPGs growing up.
This is always neat to see this stuff
For the handhelds, I changed the aspect ratios but had to remove the bezels to get them to stay that way every time I played.
