@@fun364 because one has something to do with basketball, and one does not.
If you do enough research on your sports heroes, you will often find they are disappointing people, often when relating to sex or family. You can bash Larry Bird for abandoning his daughter. You can criticize Julius Erving to allow his sons to wind up alcoholics and drug addicts. You can spend all day putting people in the dirt for their mistakes. But then you wouldn't have much of a Hall of Fame. If you want to evaporate Malone's basketball stats, then you might as well wipe out Stocktons since they were all associated with Karl. And I guess you take away two of Jordan's titles, because they happened against Karl....

Teenagers/young adults get money thrown to them and get tempted by that and accept the money. They get punished, their teammates get punished. The school gets a slap. The boosters face no punishment. So they're left there to do the same thing to the next group of impressionable young adults coming up.

@@mistermann3225 The bald guy that's joey crawford. There are many refs like him, certain names with large reffing experience who could extend the playoff series so NBA can make more money from televising games. Basketball is just like that...a ref does influence the game a lot, just give two quick fouls to key player in 1st quarter and he's sitting on the bench till 2nd quarter at least.
