@@FuShengAlex nah, from what I heard a lot of it was on Coach Nellie, chastising the rookie Webber... Some was on Webber not wanting to play center and go against some of the league's bigger, stronger players yet I hear it's was a lot about how Don Nelson Sr handled & interacted with Webber
But I comment to highlight what a shame it was because with the players Golden State had at that time, young players full of potential, budding skillsets & athleticism (Sprewell) veterans like Tim Hardaway and Chris Mullin... Golden State was building an extremely competitive team and Western Conference contender had Chris Webber "stayed put" in Golden State at that time
@@lamontejamison302 Webber was a crybaby and never a leader. From the period of forcing his way outta GS to being thrown a lifeline in Sacramento he hardly did anything of worth for 4 years in Washington for someone of his talent and expectations. He went to Washington and drove Wes Unseld (R.I.P) crazy. Getting arrested was the final straw. Unseld had enough and traded him for relative peanuts (aging Mitch Richmond). Don Nelson had his faults )NY was bad) but he was loved in Milwaukee and his 2nd stint in GS.
@@FuShengAlex Webber was a rookie, come into alot of fame & media attention from a very young age at a time when young basketball prodigys we're coveted probably the most greatly Webber needed strong examples of leaders, characters, friends and veterans around him to provide good examples of conduct! Not "the hangers on" friends, the agents and all the ppl that were around just for the ride (riding on his newly blossomed fame & fortune)...
even though dream was 6'10-6'11 you wouldn't know it because he played like he was 7'4. Keem played big boy basketball unlike these new age chumps like Embiid who is a legit 7 footer but plays like he's 6'6
@andresdelportillo9917 Who told you Olajuwon is 6'10?. He is a legit 7'0. The bs that he is under 7 ft has been debunked so many times. It is like the myth of LeBron being 260 pounds. Webber is a legit 6"10. Also, D. Rodman is 6'7.
@@jorgedelgado8177 🤣 , Olajuwon is literally shorter than Ewing who is 7’0 , and Webber and worm are literally the same height , go watch a bullets vs bulls game sometime and see for yourself
Akeem the dream. Amazing agility, foot work and finishing
👍
The NBA equivalent of baptism by fire
It's a shame the Chris Webber era in Golden State ended so quickly after such a great 1st year.
It was mostly CWebbs fault!!

that was his MVP year
olajuwon was unreal
crazy ! Hakeem Olajuwon😯
Webber didn't get his 1st win against Olajuwon until his 5th year
HAKEEM THE DREAM!!
좋은 영상 감사합니다👍

Hakeem is clearly taller there's no way Webber is more than 6ft8
Hakeem is only 6’10 look at Webber against Rodman both are even in height (6’8)
Webber is 6'8" and change, that's why he is listed 6'9" or 6'10". Hakeem over 6'10" so he has 2 full inches on Webber.
