As a fellow protectors of a democracy and freedom, Helldivers simply cannot commit any war crimes. They are just alternative methods to bring peace to the galaxy
I'd argue that the various Terminid nests don't qualify for the _"preventing births"_ warcrime when most of the structures are considered military objectives that generally lessen the presence of enemy units specifically for Helldiver operations. However? The nuke nursery & purger hatcheries main OBJs are certainly what I'd consider a Terminid _"civilian"_ structure filled with non-combatants, i.e. actual bug babies you're taking out.
That’s a fair point, the terminid war crimes is a bit messy because they’re kinda unified together in their mission to attack us but not really, so where’s the line for civilian/military locations and where’s the line between animals/military
Don't forget the most important step: wear mismatching sets of armor and helmets while doing this, because according to the internet anything people dislike is a war crime, and the worse your outfit looks the more people will dislike it.
In my 10 months of playing, I have committed 872 war crimes. For Democracy! RIP to your laptop, please tell its corpse I thank it for its invaluable service to the production of this video.
I think it should be one more, because the Towns that the illuminate take are "under attack" and so when we try to take them were kind of attacking them. Even if necessary.
your method of counting knows no bounds of efficiency and it makes me want to strive and push your methods as the standard for all vid deserves moar love v good
Wow. I love the actually informative and humourous style you have here bno fluff or filler amd some good jokes sprinkled through. Looking forward to whatever else you put out.
I think the Scorcher, Accelerator Rifle, Purifier and Loyalist shouldn't count as lasers that can blind... because they're not. They're direct energy weapons but they're not lasers, they are plasma weapons.
Thats a good point, I included them because I believe that since plasma weapons dont exist right now, and warcrimes only exist to ban currently existing weapons, the anti laser weapon warcrime is broad enough to include plasma weapons too.
The convention that the laser warcrime originated from was created to regulate weapons that are excessively injurious or have indiscriminate effects and so plasma weapons might fall into their radar when theyre made
Someone else commented with this exact same thought and I did some research about the origin of that war crime, and it’s from the conference of conventional weapons (or something named very similarly) and it was made to put regulations on weapons that are excessively injurious and indiscriminate. The issue is that they can’t only regulate weapons that exist and so since those types of guns don’t exist they don’t have a crime specifically calling them out so since those weapons aren’t laser weapons, they are close enough (using energized projectiles) cuz I feel like some of those weapons are very excessively injurious
I hate to be the one to tell you, but there are civilians in this game. You can summon them with a button. Just in time for a bug breach. And if you don't mind failing the mission...
Hmmmm that’s a good point. I need to do some more research about sacrificing your own civilians, and if that would be a war crime. Cuz I know attacking other nations civilians totally is
Is it really a war crime if it is committed against species that are not considered intelligent? Terminids are just oversized cockroaches, automatons are roombas with anger issues. That leaves us with not-so-handsome squidwards as the only group left
Counterpoint: you can’t war crime the terminids because they’re animals and definitely 100% not intelligent life like God’s Favourite Animal, the glorious Human.
good point, however I feel like plasma is closer to laser weapons because theyre both shooting a projectile of a super energized something, while incendiary weapons are weapons that employ a chemical reaction to set fire to something
As a fellow protectors of a democracy and freedom, Helldivers simply cannot commit any war crimes. They are just alternative methods to bring peace to the galaxy
it’s the only way I know how to spread democracy
@calebtremor Arguably the terminids are a slave race rising against us so they are all civilians
Remeber diver, war crimes are only crimes against humanity

It's a war crime if you don't clearly have the side or faction sign or indicator on you especially when you are actively fighting.
If I have red and white I look like a truth enforcer and a chaos diver which are two complete opposites
How do you go 4 minutes and 25 seconds without naming a single war crime in a video about war crimes
ADHD
Helldiver? I hardly know her
KrakDuk? Did not expect to see you here lol
@@Lazare7782lol I’m in the very video. Mr tremor is a good friend of mine
Hey looking forward to your next vid krakduk
KRAKDUK MY BELOVED
This is one of the best, if not THE best comment on this video!
“It’s not a war crime the first time” - Canada
I think this might be the single best thing i’ve ever watched. Underrated
Now this is a guide I can get behind
"Hello, democracy officer? Yes I'd like to repor....actually never mind"
2:52 Perturabo reference
4:46 I feel like if you got shot in the head with a normal gun you’d also be blinded anyway.
True but it doesn’t say anything about being blinded with normal guns
The amount of work you have put in derserves millions of views

Im new to this channel… but was that KrakDuk the Warhammer guy?
Yes we are good friends

I dont think plasma or particle accelerator weapons should count as blinding laser war crimes.

**the ministry of truth would like to know your location**
genuinly dont know how this doesent have more views and likes very well made video and very entertaining
thank you :)
*wheeze*
You forgot the existence of super citizens during evac missions… civilians are civilians
youre right, I didnt even think about that. I feel like that should be a double warcrime because itd be your own civilians
add a before we move on counter?
I should’ve done that 😂 my adhd was showing definitely in this video
Don't know the caliber to be sure, but I think the eruptor is large enough to be counted as an anti material weapon.
Hmmmm good point I’ll have to check that again I didn’t notice anything with the calibers when I first researched them
This is a very offensive video, good work
that’s my plan
6:19 it costs 400,000 dollars to fire that weapon, for 12 seconds (in America)
Counterpoint: you can’t war crime the terminids because they’re animals and definitely 100% not intelligent life like God’s Favourite Animal, the glorious Human.
Terminids are not a nation, they are an infestation, therefore warcrimes do not apply to them.
Weapons free, Divers.
you make a good point, but consider the following:
If we count the terminids, than we get a bigger number and can commit more war crimes
How does the halt violate the flattening bullets law? It fires armor piercing rounds and less-lethal, non-penetrating stun rounds
underrated
This guy is peak
aren’t the nuke nurseries crimes against humanity?
No since crimes against humanity are attacks against civilians and the nurseries house baby terminids that very much can fight back
Okay, but then what about the eggs? (i think i forgot literally everything you talked about in the video sorry)
Good video
why do plasma weapons violate the laser warcrime? they're plasma, super heated gas, not lasers. theyd be closer to incindiary weapons
good point, however I feel like plasma is closer to laser weapons because theyre both shooting a projectile of a super energized something, while incendiary weapons are weapons that employ a chemical reaction to set fire to something
Being technically right is the best right!
I Laught so bad with this video, +1 sub +1 like
You wouldn't happen to be Canadian by any chance, would you?
Unfortunately not my warcrime lineage is purely American
noted
I thought this was a huge channel with thousands of subs and then I look you only have 430????? Oh hell nah
haha thank you! Hopefully I get there one day
@ you will bro you funny as hell
Yes
Your tab game is weak
