I was a cool movie, worth watching. I gave it between a 6.5-7/10. It was interesting for a first watch, but I don't think it'd be a good rewatch unless you completely forgot what happened.

I've seen this trailer every time I've gone to the theater for the past month or so, but this is the first time seeing the uncensored version. It's interesting to see the changes they made. Nearly every sentence is punctuated by the word fuck. There's the shot of the floating corpses. And the vampire has a bullet wound when she gets up after being shot. Definitely has more edge, but at least with the swearing it detracts most of the time, breaking the cadence of sentences and trying too hard (they couldn't come up with any other swear word?) On a side note, the child actress is very talented. She's the lead in the Matilda musical and was in Wicked Little Letters, and each appearance she has a different accent and personality. It's pretty impressive.
Just came back from seeing this movie, and if you are looking for a fun thriller for those a fan of Universal Monsters this movie is for you. However if you are looking for a more intellectual horror film, wait for Roger Egger's Nosferatu. Also question, what is Adum's and or Oliva's favorite (horror) film involving a Universal Monster (whether well known like Dracula, Frankenstein('s Monster), The Mummy, or Wolf Man or underrated like the Phantom of the Opera (Erik), Hunchback of Notre Dame (1923 starring Lon Chaney), The Invisible Man, Creature from the Black Lagoon, or The Man who Laughs (1928))?
I guess Bram Stoker's Dracula with Garry Oldman. Although, my favorite depiction of Dracula is from the first two seasons of the Castlevania Netflix show.

Even as a big fan of vampires, I've never liked child vampires. It's just one of those things where I draw a hard line in the sand on. Likely because I'm more into World of Darkness vampires where its stated that children are never to be embraced and turned into Kindred. Not only because you kill a child (you monster), but also they can't properly control the temptations of the Beast awoken within themselves. Only the diehard vampire supremacist of the Sabbat do that and they're objectively evil.
I assumed the same thing about the Menu (figured I would hate it) and it ended up being one of my top 3 favorite films of 2022. I showed it to my grandmother and a group of hardcore horror fans and got the same reaction from both: sheer, demented delight.
ya awful looking “creepy kid” movie but honestly i’m only seeing this cuz i miss angus cloud. i still think he was murdered. look into his manager Sam Lutfi, everyone that’s ever been under his name was at their worst point in their lives under his management. he was also accused of putting drugs in Britney Spears’ food in 2007-2008 as well as brainwashing Courtney Love. I understand that the film is "fun" but I am on the same side of not seeing it whatsoever because it's not a horror film I am into. It sort of reminds me of my reaction to Redfield which looked like a superhero horror comedy film which led me to never see it.
They can be creepy though. X had some good creepy movie. But based on the trailer this movie isn't even slightly scary, talking to the monster & making unfunny jokes, I don't get the point of it.
