Looking good! Thank God that purple came off with the pressure washer. I get annoyed when someone paints their frame a weird color like that. Paint your bike however you want, but go with black for the frame...for the sake of the future owner who has to repaint it : ) Painting a tank, side panels, even fenders isn't a big deal but you gotta strip the bike completely down to properly repaint a frame... that's a lot of work. It's a deal breaker for me a lot of the time when I'm thinking about buying a bike.
Nice Job Eric! Does that painless dent tool work well for shallow dents? I have one in my CB750 tank and as I'm planning to keep it bare metal with only varnish on it, I kinda want it straight. :)
Was that tank sprayed flat black? I really liked your video on the Honda 550 four. I bought a 1973 Honda 500 four new When I got to Warner Robbins AFB. It was painted the metalic orange, with chrome fenders. That was a beautiful bike. I have seen other metal workers use sand bags or bean bags under the dents then hammer them out. Seems to work great. I can't wait to see this CB77 finished.
The tank was painted purple when we started. Wet sanded to remove that and get the surface flat. Glad you enjoyed the 550 video. I should get a sand bag. It would make it much easier. Thanks for watching.
Looking very good so far!
Thanks. Having fun. Thanks for watching.
Nice progress 👍
Thanks. I am easily excitable and can’t stop. And I already had the black and silver paint.
Cracking job Eric, bike is looking 1000% better already, and by the time you're done, WOW, 😎.
Thanks. I am having a ball. Thanks for watching.
An amazing amount of work done in a short time!
I get excited and can’t stop. Thanks for watching.

Great bike!
Yes it is. Thanks for watching.
Very nice work. What is the name of the ceramic coating you used on the plastic?
It comes in the Meguiars Headlight restore kit.

I think it does. The kits are super affordable and are great to have around.
