I have a 2006 CRV I’m thinking of lifting and putting some all terrain tyres on, do you think it could manage this route?
HI Charles.. a lifted CRV would probably do most of the route..but would probably struggle on some of the rutted out tracks..as we are running 33 inch tyres and still rubbing in places...but it would be definately doable if you had more than one vehicle to either pull you through the hard bits..regards Paul
30:52 Hi there, is it easy to close the rear door when tent ladder extended? I have a similar D1 and want to see if I can mount the tent similarly. Cheers!

Hi...We started it in Goginan to Pennal then it was Pennal to Black rock sands..but you should be able to find it on wikilocs which is under All 4 Overland..

On another subject, have you had chance to evaluate the Chinese intercooler you fitted to Beryl?

Hi Paul inhester...glad you enjoyed the episode...we have only done one 600 mile trip in Beryl so far but the intercooler does seem to work as well as any other we have fitted..we will be doing another trip shortly and be able to give a proper review on the intercooler...regards Paul

Hi Paul...no you can't camp on Black rock sands overnight and it is patrolled to remove people..regards Paul
No green lanes in Scotland?
Is it due to different land access legislation?
Hi Nick...yes there is no green lanes in Scotland like we have in England and Wales...there are forestry roads and tracks which allow some vehicle access but most are restricted which is a shame...regards Paul
