Just got back from my first proper trip in my Defender, 4500 miles to Morocco and back, absolutely loved it, lots of exploring, 2 days spent ‘lost’ in the Atlas Mountains, defender was fantastic, never missed a beat even on the long drive days getting to and from the port. Morocco is just amazing.
@@BorisTheDefender it was, there are so many tracks up into the mountains that get you miles from anyone else, on one day we only saw 3 other people all day, a shepherd and 2 guys on motorbikes. Other than the distance it’s also very easy to go, no Visa, and all you need for the vehicle is the V5 and insurance, which you can buy at the port if yours doesn’t cover Morocco.
Loved the vid. I don't own a Defender (yet):but is there any prep needed for water crossing? Always thought the radiator fan was prone to smashing if you didn't disconnect it.
Great video mate! I really enjoyed both those lanes up near the dam, great part of the country for sure. All the trucks looked great as well and Chris' truck looks like a much nice Lucy! Looking forward to follow along with the summer adventures of you and Boris.
Ay absolutely mate! Very similar aren’t they! Thanks for watching mate. I hope your adventures are going well :) I bet you miss the damp drizzlie adventures 😂
What a great trip, thank you for sharing it, the tracks look great and it looks like you wouldn’t end up with too much paint damage. Couldn’t help but notice that you’ve changed to TruckLight LED headlights. Can you recommend them? Cheers.
Enjoyed the video, that type defender has to be the best utility vehicle built in it's class, great to see not one but three of them cruising the environment they were built for, 👍🚙👌🇨🇮
Really good video and given me loads of ideas for a trip this summer. Thanks for that. I noticed when you are cleaning your truck that you have a dual intake manifold fitted. What’s you option on it? I’ve been thinking about putting one on my 300. Great to see you are posting videos again.
enjoyed this vid, simple life , driving trough nature , setting up camp... Cannot wait for my next trip. But seems to be harder and harder to get to nice spots in Europe due to regulations...
Is there an existing walkthrough video of Chris' truck? If not, any chance we could get a talk-through? Great video - thanks. Totally understand the emotional journey that comes with vehicle-separation. I'm down to a matter of weeks remaining before collecting my Ninety hardtop from the shop - a 13 month stint between drinks!
Can you just stay on the gravel tracks/light off-roading or do you need to do something pretty challenging to get there (I’m not very experienced in off-roading and use Blue mainly as an overlander than hardcore off-roader)

Loved it! That shot of the Defenders going through the water with the dam behind👌🏻
It’s an absolutely amazing place! Definitely worth a bike trip!

No it’s a heavy duty viscous fan off of the engine so no worry there
Thanks lads, really enjoyed this. Looking forward to the day i can do this with my little boy🤠
Glad you enjoyed it! Going back in a few weeks!

Nice video ! Beautiful views!
Thank you very much!
That lane is loads more fun in the opposite direction. I strongly recommend it.
Are you going to the overland show at Stratford in a couple of weeks?
Yes your right! I need to do that. And yes I’m going to be there
@@BorisTheDefender Awesome, I'll try to get a chat with you at the show.
Looks like it was great fun, awesome outing. And brilliantly filmed..
Thank you very much!!

These are eBay copies. I prefer the look. ORE will be stocking a similar style very soon
I live just down the road from Nash. So lucky to have it on my doorstep!
Haha no way! That’s handy
@@BorisTheDefender check out Coco’s Wild camp. There are also some great greenlanes around the Marches!

👍🚙👌🇨🇮
Totally agree! Thank you so much!
I need to do that myself
3 amazing defenders. Must visit those places myself in the Freelander 2.. could do with some time to clear the mind.
Yeah it’s a great place to visit!!
Looked like a fantastic trip did you have experience to build Boris or did you have help
It was a real mix. Tried to do lots myself and learn on the way. The major stuff I had help from professional friends 👍
@@BorisTheDefender fantastic jobs your trips look fantastic

Hey thanks buddy! I didn’t really notice a difference I have to say.

Oh brilliant! Have a great time. I love it too
What’s the reservoir with the lane around? Stunning location.
It’s at the very top of elan valley

So true! And I will tell Chris about this :)
Great video man. Got to head there with my family in our 110 once it's done this Summer! Will be filming/vlogging it all 😍
Amazing mate! Can’t wait to see
I must find some time to visit Wales and do some of those lanes.
Yeah it’s brilliant!
Great little trip I wouldn’t mind doing that one myself in the summer👌👏
You should!
Your diesel heater do you run it of a leisure battery or your starter battery?
Off the starter 👍
@@BorisTheDefender take it you don't have any issues starting your landy after using it
No, somehow my starter battery has been incredible for 4 years. I am strategic with when I use it, try and turn it on when the engine is running
@@BorisTheDefender perfect thanks for that 👍
Lovely trip😊
Yes it was!! Thank you 👍👍
What are the x shaped spotlights on the roof? My dad is asking me to find them for him 😅😅
They are the prime X lights available from ORE 4x4 UK
Anyone have a link to those “x” lights on top of the black 110
They are prime x from ORE 4x4 UK
What are each of the roof racks on these three?
Mine is flatdog and the others have frontrunner
@BorisTheDefender thanks buddy!
Hi pal, where was this?
Hi buddy all locations are mentioned in the video 👍
Oh man, I would love to do that gravel track with the Dams in Blue. Is that Elan?
Yeah it’s amazing

pressure wash your engine bay .. is that safe?
Yes it’s all good on this one
