  • In this video we go for a one night wild camp in the woods and then return back to the workshop for a walk round of some of the changes that we have made since building the truck...to make her more user friendly for some of the trips we are planning on going on this year...

    You just can't beat the feeling of sitting around a campfire, and your own extreme camper has got you there. I really appreciate how lucky I am to have a friendship group around me that has contributed to getting me to this point. Watching you two set up puts me in mind of the teamwork that's involved in making this way of life happen. That's the bit about glossy insta posts that are unseen.
    Thanks for the walk around too, I was told long ago that the truck will keep changing until you find the system that works for you. You seem now to be well on your way to that point.
    I'm excited for the next adventure!

      Hi Dan...yes everytime you go out in the truck you learn something new and the things just evolve naturally everytime you set up and break camp...have just watched your video when you were down at Marcs...it is all about friendship and having good mates..

    You have an awning side and rear. Why not get a 270 degree awning?

    • @All4Overland
      @All4Overland  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Hi...we have the two awnings split for a couple of reasons the 1st one is if we are parked up somewhere if we cannot use the side awning we can always use the rear or visaversa..the 2nd reason is if we had a 270 at the same height as side awning which is a reachable height without using steps it would interfere with opening and closing of the back door as the door is higher in the body so with the 270 you would have to partially close it to get in and out of the back door so that is why we have two awnings..

    • @Jabber-ig3iw
      @Jabber-ig3iw 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We have a 270 awning on our defender and there’s lots of occasions we don’t have the space to open it. Sometimes I wonder if 2 awnings would have been the better option.

    • @All4Overland
      @All4Overland  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi...there are pros and cons to both set ups but we were forced to have the two awnings cos of the height of the rear door...but the setup we have does work well for us..

    Awesome truck & great videos could I ask please what springs & suspension you use I’m looking at changing my 110.s from standard to two inch lift should I go heavy duty cause I carry tentbox on the roof rack also I’ve con the back for camping
    Regards

    • @All4Overland
      @All4Overland  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi mate...the suspension we have got on the Overlander is Terrafirma +2" lift Plus 500kg Springs on the rear and Plus 250kg on the front also we run Terrafirma big bore shocks...with you having the extra equipment in the truck i would run the Heavy Duty suspension...we have been running the Terrafirma suspension on trucks for many years and never had any issues so can thoroughly recommend Terrafirma.
