Watched 10 mower reviews and was losing the will to live before I found yours. Thanks for quickly giving facts about mowers rather than discussing why you’d want to mow a lawn or how it may rain during the filming. Very informative.
We did indeed 👍🏼 Ryobi not that popular in the UK, Milwaukee we compared in another video where we have 6 commercial mowers. And Makita were not invited on this test as the 6 slots were filled 👍🏼😂
Nice Review James again they all do the job I was in the local dealers Picking up a new petrol mower they had a few little battery STIGA mowers in stock Have a good weekend Thanks again
Finally someone who pays attention to the grass bags as well instead of just doing torture tests. the only thing holding me back from buying the stihl or ego atm is the grass box design as i prefer the classic fabric style like on the Husqvarna . well done. also battery compatibility is an issue i think as stihl e.g. has two types of battery lines that look very similiar and my neigbour bought a stihl trimmer and wanted to buy a pole hedge trimmer next only to find out hed need to buy another charger and battery set just for that.
i bought a 21" self-propelled Greenworks - it mulches great and bags great as well - you can adjust the walking speed to suit yourself - i bought several batteries because i plan to buy a few Greenworks 40 volt tools - very pleased so far (i bought it from Amazon very reasonable and quick delivery)
Brilliant video. So much effort involved. One thing I'd have liked to know along with the info is how heavy the mowers are for someone who picks them up ito fit in car or van.
Spent a month going back/forth between which cordless system to invest in. Toro’s price for a 21852 steel model, with all the bells and whistles is a big draw. But I’d eventually like to have a cordless scarifier which currently, leaves a limited choice of systems. Ultimately Husqvarna has the scarifier, an interchangeable trimmer/cutter, plus entry level mowers that work with the premium batteries, so it’s easy to scale the system. Thanks for your help, testing and entertainment
Until you need a repair. EGO just does not support their products. Want an eye opening experience call the Customer Service number. Been told numerous times they would escalate our repair, 8 weeks in the shop at that time. At 10 weeks were told we would have a replacement unit.....a flat out lie. We think the EGO line is wonderful unfortunately once something happens no service no repair no more EGO.
Darn, I kept waiting to see one catch fire then Josh come running in with his little fireman's helmet on while screaming Fire Fire!!!! 🤣 Nice review James. 👍
I'm a newcomer to your channel and I'm loving watching your videos. That said I'll cut (pun slightly intended) to the point, I have a request for you. Have you thought about checking out different types of vacuum machines? As I'd love to see some of these compared. I've been eyeing different ones up on and off for a while now (all petrol) and just like lawnmowers they come in all different sizes, shapes and budgets starting with the smaller domestic types like Webb, Sherpa, smaller Billygoat and such all the way up to the bigger more commercial types such as the larger Billygoat, Weibang, Little Wonder, Tenant, Etc. A lot of them double up as small wood chippers too. I've found video reviews on the individual types but I've never seen a side by side comparison of them like you've done this and the other stuff of yours that I'm watching. If this is something you can do, I'd be delighted to see it!
I have a ryobi so i am happy with it but if i had to choose one of the ones you tested, i say the greenworks would be best choice least in my opinion. Only problem sold at lowes in my town and not very fan of our lowes as customer service isnt very good. Nice swet of mowers and not often reviewers talk about the bags holding the grass.
What are the decent corded lawnmowers upto £200 for a small to medium garden? Prefer a single lever with four (or more) grass settings. I'm also not a fan of fabric grass collection boxes that can tear.

I was surprised that EGO sells different mowers in the U.K. than what they sell in the states. Smallest mower they sell here has a 20-inch blade with the 21-inch models being the norm for most. I was like what the heck is that? Just thought the mowers would be the same lol.
Haha, yeah it’s always surprising to see! We have a few EGO bits that you don’t and you have some we don’t. Generally the American market has a lot of the bigger stuff and we have smaller due to our gardens being much smaller (generally)
I bought a petrol roller mower a couple of years ago, and it has been an absolute nightmare! The after sales service is non existent from dealer, and manufacturer! It wasn't cheap either, if it was, I could kinda understand. As I'm looking to retire in a couple of years, any recommendations for a petrol roller mower, without too much investment? Around £500 to £600. I mainly do domestic gardens, so don't need anything too special. For bigger jobs, I have an indestructible KAAZ! Any advice is more than welcome.

Who uses a grass box? Doesn't everyone mulch grass?? Every guide I've ever read says that's the way to go otherwise you're constantly removing nutrients from the yard. Wish you had done mulching tests, but thanks for the rest of the video.
Most people in the UK collect their grass. Mulching is fine on lawn seeded areas but many UK gardens are field grass which is a lot thicker and heavier to mulch. Mulching suits retired people or those who have plenty of time. Also mulching is not suitable for you families or ones with dogs as they bring the loose grass back in on their feet. I agree some people love it, I’m not a huge fan, unless it can be mown every 3-4 days. In an ideal world it’s best to mulch one week and collect the next to vacuum what is left behind, thus allowing the goodness to soak in.

Nice video. I compared the Stihl with the Stiga for price. And it’s €350 for the Stiga vs €450 for the Stihl. A big difference.
I guess it's from being in the States and having a 21" Ego with a 7.5 ah battery, but wow...that Stiga looks TINY.
One of the things that swung it for to go Ego was, it had bearing in the wheels. Others were just a shaft running on plastic.
