Wow there are many now.....
I bought an Ego with a 10ah battery, and it's great, I do my entire lawn, generally still have 2 or 3 bars left. Literally the only thing I hate is the lag in the self drive system. Why do seemingly all electric mowers suffer from that? A Tesla is literally known for its instant acceleration - that's one of the benefits of using electric anything. So why in the world is there such lag? For those that don't know, it's not like a momentary lag, like people being picky, it's literally like 2 seconds - so if you are constantly going on and off the self drive, it really is annoying and makes you change how you use that. With that said, the reason it's livable, is that the mower is so light, you don't need to use the self drive as often. Still, it's remarkable that this is an issue with any mower, in particular the best out there.
I'm glad it's not instant. I accidentally hit the button all the time which would cause much more serious problems if the power was instant. So very glad it's delayed just a tad.
It isn't instant to protect the system from surging. It costs more in hardware to be able to have instant torque. The initiate current spike requirement could be over 40 or 60 amps. More than when your AC system kicks on. They don't want to add the cost of that benefit since it would be substantial. Its already expensive enough to move over to electric. I could buy 40 years worth of gas for my current mower to adopt electric. It's a tough sell.
@@babochee well good for you. Meanwhile during the hurricanes when we lost power, I literally used the lawn mower battery with the Ego inverter and ran my fridge for 4 hours, since it was the middle of the night and I had a house full of people and didn't want to start up the generator. Anywho, electric is nice since you don't need to go buy gas or do maintenance - and it's dramatically more quiet. That combo for me is worth it. Then again I'm not on welfare.
You should crown a best budget mower as well. I know I'm not going to drop 1000 bucks on a battery push mower when I can buy a Honda gas mower that is proven to last 20+ years for half the price.
My Honda 214 self propelled walk behind with aluminum deck and blade brake is now 36 years and hopefully counting. Still have the receipt from 1988. It was $500 then which was very expensive but I guess I got my money worth 😉haven’t yet used it this season but probably will this week so fingers crossed it will still run.
@@oldmaninthemirror my dad bought a composite deck Honda when I was 9 or 10. I'm now 34 and still using it. Needs new back wheels but otherwise runs great.
My second year with Worx 80v it is the best. The BaseCamp plug in with standard 120v cord. And it uses 0.5 amp. And it does a lot more than 1/3 acre, more like 3/4.

I love my new Yardmax GAS mower. Am putting my nearly new 56v Ego up for sale. In 4 uses it bogs down and quits in medium-heavy grass and the battery dies after about 20 minutes.
(Location GA:/grass type: Bermuda approx 66oo sq. ft.) I bought the EGO 2130SP in Feb 2021, while I want to give it 5-Star rating (works great when it works). But EGO is getting 1-star from me. I've had a random problem of it not starting (in driveway) or stopping/stalling during a cut (and I'm not cutting overgrown grass here). It's not a battery issue, the battery works fine in the String Trimmer. Also, I can't simulate it at will. In Mar of 2022 I turn it over to an authorized dealer. They had it for 3 weeks and told me they could not find anything wrong with it (Note: it was returned to me very filthy, both mower and charger). Well, the same problem happened again at the end of the cutting season (yes, it ran all summer long in 90-degree heat). At the beginning of this season (2023) it did it again after 2 complete cuts. In APR/May it happened again these past 2 times I called EGO. I let them know I reported this same problem in the past, went through their scripted troubleshooting guide and it worked fine while they were on the phone. Hung up with them and guess what? It stalled again and would not start about 20 minutes into my cut, I finished with my gas mower. The following week it would NOT start again. Before calling EGO, I went through all the steps I from the previous week and it would NOT start on the driveway. I called EGO and of course, it works. This time I was able to finish my lawn (Bermuda, approx. 6600 sq. ft. Here 's my problem, I'm not calling EGO for no reason. It's under full warranty and there is something wrong with my mower. And I can guarantee it's not the typical wiring or relays found on youtube vids. As I said, this happen to me in 2022 and I waited to double triple check to be sure it was not some silly operator error. 1) Charge battery (all green lights) 2) slide into slot (be sure it clicks in place) 3) fully push start button and pull bail switch. The light on the handle shows solid "orange light" while battery lights are fully green. The mower nor the battery is hot and I'm not even in the grass at times when it shuts down or simply does not start. There is no way it's a load issue and be acceptable as working under normal conditions. I follow the 1/3 rule of cutting. I've replayed this info to the EGO reps several times. This should be more than enough info to turn it in. Yet, I can't get them to authorize a real tech to figure out the issue or simply replace it. But then what...I'm out of a mower I paid $600+ for another three weeks possibly. It's a good thing I held on to my 15 yr. old gas mower. WTF!!!
Just bought the Honda HRX with the hydrostatic and blade brake clutch. It’ll last 30 years. I use Mobil 1 and change the oil every other year. Ethanol free gas with a stabilizer = No fuel issues.
I am sort of curious why the Ego always seems to win these reviews and comparisons? I’ve tried out 3 different Ego’s in the last 5 years. I’ve also tried the Black and Decker 40v, The 2021 top of the line Ryobi, the 2021 Greenworks 80v, and the Toro Recycler electric. I have a normal KBG and Fescue 3500 sq ft lawn and all of the Ego’s gave me the worst cut quality. They all were terrible at mulching unless I lower the deck down to way lower than I want to mow. They also seemed to be too light weight and bounced around a lot and caused an uneven cut and the seemed to lay down the lawn instead of cutting it. So far (as far as it quality and mulching at 4 inches goes, the Toro (which I’m using now) does the best of all I’ve tried. The Toro does have the heaviest blade which maybe accounts for its superior suction for mulching. I haven’t used it for bagging so I don’t know how well it does with that.
Exactly ego pays them to make it #1 I have toro commercial electric hands down makes ego look like toys even there super recycler is the same as the gas version
A composite mower should be an automatic "no", unless you have a perfectly smooth lawn with level edges and no bumps. I was really satisfied with my Ryobi until I checked the blades and found that they had gouged the insed of the mower deck and actually cut through the front of the inside deck. Ryobi refused to do anything about this and said I was obviously abusing the mower. (Note 78 year old man with limited mobility because of an accident 10 years ago)
The thing I hate the most is that they no longer use a universal blade mounting system like gas-mowers. A plastic mounting adds cost to replace it or isn't available to purchase anywhere.
@@todayontheinternet9576 They do not want aftermarket parts for as long as possible. It's kind of like releasing a new movie too soon on DVD, they want to extract as much money as possible first.
I love using the battery powered mowers because I am partially disabled and can not push a mower very good in the grass. They are lighter and the best part while using the self propelled part is I rotate with three batteries one charging, one cooling and one mowing and I always get downtime to wait on the batteries. Takes me five charges to mow about 17000Sq ft because of the slight hill in my yard.
forgot to say I use the snapper version of the greenworks 21 inch cut and they only gave me 2.0 amp hour batteries. I cant even afford the 4.0 batteries now at $289 bucks each. Its getting harder to stretch my dollars. At least I am not fiddling with a gas can any more .
@@breakfastclub3909 look at knock off batteries. I run ego but have been looking at the chinese versions of the same batteries since they are half the price usually
Chinese batteries are crap. They may look the same but if you weigh them they are underweight compared to OEM. Also look at the connection terminals. They may not be as robust as OEM. Remember you get what you pay for and I ain't giving the Chinese squat for that stuff. Buy American or Western made if you can!
No need for self propelled. Have an older EGO 2101 which I'm not overly happy with. OK cut but it's suction power is horrible. Is the newer 2135 better?

Yeah...I want to see some of these cutting and bagging on a Tifton Bermuda lawn in July. Still not convinced that any of them can hang with a gas mower in those conditions.
Thanks for the video and all of the information. Are any (or all) of these recycling mowers so you do not have to pick up grass clippings? I was also wondering how loud they are in comparison with typical gas powered lawn mowers.
It's a nice lineup but it's a real shame that you didn't test the bagging ability. I found that these electric lawn mowers pale in comparison to gas mowers when it comes to its ability to pick up clippings
I have really thick St. Augustine grass. 10,000 square feet. I mow highest (4-5") setting once a week. With a gas self-propelled, it takes 1 hour, 30 minutes to mow cleanly. What mower is going to last that long with one set of batteries cutting that type of grass?
Milwaukee might meet its match in Greenworks Commercial's latest 82-volt 21-inch mower, which sports a 2.3-kiliwatt motor. Most consumer 21s use a 1.3- or 1.5-kW motor. And the Greenworks can hold two 80-amp-hour batteries, giving it an incredible 1176 watt-hours of energy between battery changes (73.5V x 2 x 8). That's more than twice the capacity of my Greenworks Pro 21 Gen. 2 (56 x 2 x 5, or 540 watt-hours).
Project farm rated the green works trimmer very badly. In the end, I'm going to match trimmer and mower brands based on reasonable battery replacement. I'm Checking replacement battery prices and double them in 5 years. Then deciding. I probably will use a mower that uses same as my drill and charge more often. So much cheaper long term.
Fun. Thx for all the effort. Would enjoy seeing the high end Makita Greenworks 80v, Toro Super recycler. But damn there are so many battery lawnmowers now. Crazy. I've used the EGO 2156 the last few years and it is a solid mower.
@@Protoolreviews still love my all black Toro Super Recycler as well. Something about a heavy mower with a gas engine that I love. Kind of like a Harley 👍
I've heard folks say that the SR (battery) has more power and better suction than the Stripe. I don't really see this in Toro's marketing, but to me it would be a reason to spend the extra hundred bucks if I'm buying a mower for 5 years+.
I hear ya... but... I have been using an electric mower and trimmer for about 9 years now. So, no gas issues, no oil changes, flip the mower over and just clean underneath simplicity, don't fill up in the middle of a cut just switch the battery. If you haven't switched, you are missing out. Oh ya... still using the original batteries too! The downside - my old battery mower is not a really good cutter. So if the grass is a little long or thick, then I change the width of my cut. My lawnmower is 19", so for thin grass, I will use roughly the whole width. A little thicker, probably 2/3 of the deck. Thick grass, probably 1/2 the deck. That said though, over the course of 9 years of cutting grass of various lengths, it has only stopped working maybe twice due to the difficulty of the grass. I cannot say the same for grass cutting with a gas mower. I will never go back to a gas mower. In fact, the only reason I am here is that I am finally looking to upgrade my old 40v Greenworks mower and trimmer to a newer 80v version. You keep doing your oil changes and running to the gas station for fuel... not me!
I've always thought rear wheel drive perform better since the weight of the bag give is more grip? The front wheel drive options just spin when the bag gets heavy.
A mower with a runtime of 45-60 minutes is *not* a commercial mower, expected to be available all day long. You'd really have to have plenty of recharge time between jobs. I want the Milwaukee for my home, but likely would not spend the additional $500 for a spare set of 12 aH batteries. (Hopefully a landscaper would.) The rest of these have similar kinds of "backup" costs, too.
Avoid Ego at all costs. Quality has gone way down. My battery died after a year after purchasing. Replacement died after 2 and now they are saying tough luck that it's outside warranty. My string timmer went down and it took 3 months to fix. It seems customer service has gotten pretty bad over the last 8 years I have used their stuff.
As a person that has been using lithium batteries for Rc cars for 15 years now. I’m willing to bet the battery failure is your fault for not keeping up on proper charging and storage of the batteries
@@Vanquishfanboy I'll take that bet. Being that I have batteries from 10 years ago when ego first came out and they are still working I would say you are wrong. This only happened to the new edger and new battery that came with it, and replacement battery they sent. To me that says it's a new quality control issue.
I've had an EGO three years now. Yard is 1/3 acre and takes about an hour and half to cut. The mower has NEVER made it all the way thru the yard and ALWAYS needed either a second battery or to stop/wait for the battery to charge up. Over three years it has went thru several batteries. For the cost of replacing a battery one can buy a LOT of gasoline. Sorry, but this is the truth.
Thats really weird, because Ego has a 5 year warranty, and each replacement gets a fresh 5 year warranty. So I’m not sure why you would pay for a new battery vs get yours warrantied. 🤷♂️ But thats just me, a 4 year owner of the damn near the ENTIRE ego line. Never had a single issue with any of it and I own the carbon fiber weed whacker, the multi-head unit with pole saw, extension, and edger, as well as the backpack blower and the self propelled push mower. Zero issues ever and its been amazing to use these products and maintain them. I have 4 batteries total though and rotate them normally.
Sadly I'm still going to buy a gas unit due to cost. Even with all these units out competing. A cheap Walmart basic gas brand unit is still a better buy.
I have both winners in my lawn service trailer. I started transitioning to electric before the Milwaukee was available. I bought the Milwaukee because of a feature that wasn't listed in this review. It was the ground speed that made me want to try it. All other self propel electric mowers seem to top out at 2.5ish MPH while the Milwaukee was claiming speeds above 4MPH.
A Greenworks battery is 60V nominal (no load), 56V under load. The Echo appears to be a Greenworks Pro with one less cell per battery: 56V nominal, 50.4V under load. How do know that this? Because on Echo's site they rate their 5AH battery's energy capacity at 252 watt-hours. 252 / 5 = 50.4.
$1000 for a 21 inch mower? The more I learn about electric the more I realize how awesome gasoline is. Autos and mowers. I have an EGO mower and it's not as good as the cheapest gas mower. Also after 1 year the battery died. They did replace it under warranty. But when this one goes its like $300 for a new one.
@@Protoolreviews Unfortunately the write up isn't a hands on review and height of cut is wrong. It's 0.79 inches (approximately) - 4 inches or 20mm - 100mm not 1.25 inches - 4 inches. Phasing out batteries already!? Im good on the battery mower. I did switch my weed eater and blower to battery only because the price wasnt crazy. But these mowers aint cheap!
Most people in my neighbor hood are using obnoxiously loud12-16hp rider mowers. With 3/4 acre lots, they are too lazy for walkers. When I saw the review for Worx Nitro 80v I got one. People thought 40 & 60v didn't have enoph power. Now I have every thing from Worx. Just buy the tools & use the batters you already have.
We hope to. The new ones look pretty cool, though the US models are prosumer. We hope to see their commercial $2,000 gas mower converted to gas soon. It has some pretty amazing features.
If you buy the lm2167sp Ego will not replace it if it DOA like mine was or has failed. They will instead give you the lm2156sp kit plus get to keep the 12 ah battery or a refund. So be wary of buying the lm2167sp.
I have the milwakee and in my opion the others dont compare. It will automatically increase the blade speed if needed and mine rarly does. The battery life is insane. The lights are very bright and the side shooters are very handy. The lights have came in use many times for me. The power is crazy you really can fire it up in tall grass it just doesnt care.
Milwaukee excels at providing high torque for a given voltage. Its 18v 16-inch chainsaw has more torque than most 36/40V chainsaws...though at cost in rpm. I can't imagine what the Milwaukee's 10 foot-pounds of torque must feel like. Well, I can, because I used to mow with an Ariens 21-inch whose 4-cycle Robin engine was rated at 9.4 or 9.6 foot-pounds. And I seldom recalled hearing it struggle.
Why can't any lawn mower maker make a 30" wide battery lawn mower like the Timemaster except with pneumatic tires on the rear and swivels on the front? Heck, 12" on the rear and 10" on the front wheels would work great. Then, add a 3.5" height selection and a 1gal tank and it would be great.
Nice review. I'm interested in being able to turn off the blade power while using the self-propel/AWD feature. When I finish mowing the back lower lot I have a neighbors backyard hill to come back up and don't want to cut her lawn.
Loving my gen4 40v Kobalt stuff. Shame Kobalt didn't get included again this time. Was a little worried I should have gone 80v at first but the mower and string trimmer cut through fairly overgrown grass with ease
They got the Greenworks in there, its the same thing just different color. Kobalt, Snapper, Masterforce and who knows what other Greenworks rebrand is out there. None of them have adopted the twin blade system yet.
@@breakfastclub3909 I know the older gen Kobalt OPE was made by greenworks, but I've yet to find any definite statement that the newer gen4 stuff is. There is some conflicting information posted out there, and everything definitive is about their older gen3 and before ope and their 24v power tools. I say this because I know Chervon makes their 24v tools, has Chervon also been making their 24v ope line up? The newer gen4 stuff, while it uses the same battery format as the older, is a pretty different design on everything, and the plastic used is of a totally different composition then before. It matches the plastic used on their 24v ope and 24v power tools almost perfectly. The 40v batteries themselves, of course still are the same form factor and fit in the same slots, but again the composition of the plastic is totally different then before and apparently the newer cells used are better. Is Chervon actually making their 40v ope line up now I wonder? Both greenworks and chervon are industry leaders and totally capable of making good quality equipment so it doesn't really matter either way, I'm just really curious to actually find out who is behind the current gen stuff.
You need to do a follow up on customer service and I bet no one buy any if them. Brand new out of box Greenworks. Battery newly charged. Lights are on but it won’t move. Going back. Got message from another person same experience with Eco. Hours on the phone holding. Stick with gas. Easy to fix.
Thumb fatigue 😂😂😂. If you're getting thumb fatigue, hire a mowing service. Manual labor is not meant for your thumb. My favorite thing about the Milwaukee mower is the thumb control, and that you can drive it without the blades engaged. I don't know how that is with other battery-powered mowers. I'm not 100% sold on the Milwaukee for the price, but very happy with it so far.

The Worx 80v w/ 4 batteries and removeable base might be the most innovative and underrated mower. Its an absolute gem.
My second year with Worx 80v it is the best. The BaseCamp plug in with standard 120v cord. And it uses 0.5 amp. And it does a lot more than 1/3 acre, more like 3/4.
Lightweight is good and what did I use it for it’s a lawnmower th-cam.com/users/postUgkxTPN04aT-Qdjr_KS3ql7ng8wnU3wwsCqk also recommend Yes it is lightweight so hence not as robust as our old one. But if you take care it does the job really well.
I love my new Yardmax GAS mower. Am putting my nearly new 56v Ego up for sale. In 4 uses it bogs down and quits in medium-heavy grass and the battery dies after about 20 minutes.
Eh, for under $400 I use Kobalt electric lawn tools by Lowes for residential use. Relatively powerful and portable...that store brand meets my needs.
Last year made 😫
My hydrostatic HRX is in it's 7th year and just shelled its transmission today.
I guessing they all get paid to rate the ego the top model.
Yep, advertising in disguise
The tinfoil hats are wrapped tight
I'm not positive but I've heard that Ego has a 1200 watt motor. Could that be it?
This, we're back to proprietary blades/mounting systems, these companies seem to completely ignore the lessons learned from the gas mower industry.
@@todayontheinternet9576 They do not want aftermarket parts for as long as possible. It's kind of like releasing a new movie too soon on DVD, they want to extract as much money as possible first.
@@todayontheinternet9576still use gas for that reason
@@Angryrider614where you find them

Chinese batteries are crap. They may look the same but if you weigh them they are underweight compared to OEM. Also look at the connection terminals. They may not be as robust as OEM. Remember you get what you pay for and I ain't giving the Chinese squat for that stuff. Buy American or Western made if you can!
No need for self propelled.
Have an older EGO 2101 which I'm not overly happy with.
OK cut but it's suction power is horrible.

Hi you made this comment a year ago hows it holding up?
@@matthewlang777 it’s holding up great, thus far. In the mid-west we can only mow 5-6 months a year but so far so good. I did bring out my old gas operated mower and it was a beautiful noise to my ears.
I have the. Egoi have the ego. For 6 years. Now. Battery's. Are still working. No problem!! Bought it. On sale. For. $250.00. Have the weed eater and blower to. Best. Investment.
Yeah...I want to see some of these cutting and bagging on a Tifton Bermuda lawn in July. Still not convinced that any of them can hang with a gas mower in those conditions.
Thank you, I have the EGO select cut XP, but I always like to see what the other lawnmower features are
I am loving my Greenworks 80v 21"
Thanks for the video and all of the information. Are any (or all) of these recycling mowers so you do not have to pick up grass clippings? I was also wondering how loud they are in comparison with typical gas powered lawn mowers.
Milwaukee is the most powerful/loudest. High setting on milwaukee is close to a gas mower. All the others are half as loud as a gas mower.
It's a nice lineup but it's a real shame that you didn't test the bagging ability. I found that these electric lawn mowers pale in comparison to gas mowers when it comes to its ability to pick up clippings
If you go by the charts the Ryobi matched and in some beat your top two I’m confused
The charts are just facts, not rankings.
Just picked up the royobi 40v all wheel drive whisper looking forward to using it this week
Hey, did you provide a review? I'd like to know what you thought of the Royobi
I had an Ego. It spent more time in the shop then with me. I gave it away and went back to my gas mower.
Oh yeah, you took your ego mower to the shop huh lol
I love my Ryobi all wheel drive ❤
Should quality of cut be a factor? You'd have to find some grass in better shape to test that.
This!
I have really thick St. Augustine grass. 10,000 square feet. I mow highest (4-5") setting once a week. With a gas self-propelled, it takes 1 hour, 30 minutes to mow cleanly. What mower is going to last that long with one set of batteries cutting that type of grass?
Just get an extra battery and it wont matter. Always good to have a back up anyways.
Nice video but I was wondering about the dewalt and how it performs
Milwaukee might meet its match in Greenworks Commercial's latest 82-volt 21-inch mower, which sports a 2.3-kiliwatt motor. Most consumer 21s use a 1.3- or 1.5-kW motor. And the Greenworks can hold two 80-amp-hour batteries, giving it an incredible 1176 watt-hours of energy between battery changes (73.5V x 2 x 8). That's more than twice the capacity of my Greenworks Pro 21 Gen. 2 (56 x 2 x 5, or 540 watt-hours).
Do you have a link to the new 82v unit?
Us warm season types will appreciate the 1" height setting on the Milwaukee (and Toro) over the 1.375"/1.5" lowest on some of the other guys.
Project farm rated the green works trimmer very badly. In the end, I'm going to match trimmer and mower brands based on reasonable battery replacement. I'm Checking replacement battery prices and double them in 5 years. Then deciding. I probably will use a mower that uses same as my drill and charge more often. So much cheaper long term.
great video. always flowing.
Thanks for watching!
Would be nice to see taller grass comparison
I’ll keep waiting. Battery technology has not quite met the demand just yet.
You keep doing your oil changes and running to the gas station for fuel... not me!
Are there by front wheel drive battery motors? My older dad can't push a rwd mower.
I've always thought rear wheel drive perform better since the weight of the bag give is more grip? The front wheel drive options just spin when the bag gets heavy.
How about your younger dad?
Which one of these has a 1 button height adjustment instead of each tire difficult adjustment?
Greenworks
No Dewalt? Shopping for a light one for weekly mowing route. Would love to see any kinda graph with weights etc. Great info though!
so, what happens when you don't mow dead grass?
I have the same question 🤔
A mower with a runtime of 45-60 minutes is *not* a commercial mower, expected to be available all day long. You'd really have to have plenty of recharge time between jobs. I want the Milwaukee for my home, but likely would not spend the additional $500 for a spare set of 12 aH batteries. (Hopefully a landscaper would.) The rest of these have similar kinds of "backup" costs, too.
gas runs out in 1.5 hours and you ALWAYS have to pay for it, whats your point?
I’d like to see Harbor Freight’s Atlas 80v brushless mower
Did I miss the segment about how well the bagger system works?
What about cut quality and mulching leaves?
Anyone know how dewalt stacks? I am invested in those batteries.
Good video, but why do none of these mowers have bags for the clippings? I don't want to rake my yard after I mow it.
Should've used the Toro 60V Super Recycler instead of the Stripe!
Why no Makita?
Avoid Ego at all costs. Quality has gone way down. My battery died after a year after purchasing. Replacement died after 2 and now they are saying tough luck that it's outside warranty. My string timmer went down and it took 3 months to fix. It seems customer service has gotten pretty bad over the last 8 years I have used their stuff.
Are you going to every video to post that?
As a person that has been using lithium batteries for Rc cars for 15 years now. I’m willing to bet the battery failure is your fault for not keeping up on proper charging and storage of the batteries
@@Vanquishfanboy I'll take that bet. Being that I have batteries from 10 years ago when ego first came out and they are still working I would say you are wrong. This only happened to the new edger and new battery that came with it, and replacement battery they sent. To me that says it's a new quality control issue.
Can you pull any of those lawnmowers backwards?
Why would you use the stripe to represent toro and not the super recycler
No dewalt?
Thanks!!!
Thanks so much! ❤😊
Thanks for watching!
So the two most expensive ones win?
You pay for what you get
I have a battery on my diesel tractor, does that count as electric?
Why are you not accessing the warranty?! That’s silly
Bot
Sadly I'm still going to buy a gas unit due to cost. Even with all these units out competing. A cheap Walmart basic gas brand unit is still a better buy.
enjoy all that maintainence and gas smell in your garage and keep on polluting!
I bought a gas mower just to have one when my old one dies...
@@toddsjogren5589 lol nice
I am always pleased to see how well my mower does in these reviews/competitions. 😎

Why no DeWalt or Makita comparison?
$1000 for a 21 inch mower? The more I learn about electric the more I realize how awesome gasoline is. Autos and mowers. I have an EGO mower and it's not as good as the cheapest gas mower. Also after 1 year the battery died. They did replace it under warranty. But when this one goes its like $300 for a new one.

We hope to. The new ones look pretty cool, though the US models are prosumer. We hope to see their commercial $2,000 gas mower converted to gas soon. It has some pretty amazing features.
Need to test it out on grass that bigger
I think you should have put the toro super recycler instead of the stripe it is a better comparison
If you buy the lm2167sp Ego will not replace it if it DOA like mine was or has failed. They will instead give you the lm2156sp kit plus get to keep the 12 ah battery or a refund. So be wary of buying the lm2167sp.
No AEG 58V?
It's apparently a beast.

No Stihl?
Stihl is a rebranded Greenworks. However with Stihl, you have a better battery, dealer support, and the motor might have different specs
Now every gardner needs solar panels on their gardening trailer 😮
So no makita?
Makita declined to participate in the video, *thanks for watching!*
I know the EGO has that option. The blade and drive systems are completely separate and operate independently.
I feel this review would have been helpful if shown on an average yard instead of a burnt out mess
