As with other reviewers I found this helpful and informative with all the multitude of cordless lawnmowers out there. I have purchased direct from the supplier to get the 10% off. Impressed with next day delivery. Will update with performance once received and in use.
Really helpful review. Helped us make the decision to buy one! Plus we used the discount code in the description to get 10% off (we even bought the strimmer that at the same time). Thanks very much 👍
Glad I could help, so pleased you got the discount as well and purchased the trimmer at the same time. I will be doing a review of the trimmer shortly. Thanks again.
I checked your other reviews on lawnmowers and basing it on practicality (small patch of lawn) and usability this might be IT. Thanks for the detailed review.
Hello, thank you for this very useful and comprehensive video. Do you know if the CLMF2437G (37 cm) is as effective for mulching as we saw on your video with the 34cm? Mulching on tall grass is impressive.
Thanks for your positive feedback, glad my video was helpful. Yes they will mulch exactly the same, however mulching is not as effective with longer grass. Mulching is really suitable only for those who follow a regular mowing schedule. For more information see my article here easylawnmowing.co.uk/the-benefits-of-mulching-grass/
Hi, they have just released a 32cm model that I have just tested. You can see it here - tidd.ly/3PUspqV (Affiliate Link) I will have the video uploaded in a day or two. Be sure to subscribe to get notified when I upload the video. Thanks Mark
Hi Mark, many thanks for your comments. Great to hear you purchased one, yes I will definitely try to do a review of the trimmer too. Just working on the grass trimmer now. Thanks again
@@EasyLawnMowing Excellent. I look forward to that. Cut all of the lawn with one battery and that includes the neighbours pavement grass! I will rotate batteries for the next cut.
Hi, yes any small weeds coming through the lawn the mower will cut. However, you should deal with the weeds, as cutting the lawn with the weeds will only help them to spread. Have a look on the easylawnmowing.co.uk for helpful guides on how to deal with weeds on your lawn.
Thank you! The rear roller on the LawnMaster 34cm CLMF2434G does a decent job of creating stripes, but they may not be as long-lasting or defined as those made by a heavier petrol mower. It's adequate for light use but might be a bit underwhelming if you're looking for very pronounced stripes.
@@EasyLawnMowing thanks Mark, I used it yesterday, really impressed. I managed all of my front garden & then kept going & did all the edges of my mid size back garden twice, all on the first battery & it did not run out. The grass was not short either, running time between 25-30 mins. Very happy, thanks again for your help
Hi, In my experience, they are very similar in terms of build quality and performance. Batteries are also very similar in terms of performance and longevity. Thanks Mark
Hi Michael, the mower does stripe, however being a lightweight machine, they are not as defined and long lasting as you would get with a heavier machine. The LawnMaster mowers are great value with lots of features out of the box.
Mine worked fine to begin with but now it cuts out after a minute or two of light mowing. Batteries charging fine. Restarts after 10 mins but then cuts out again after a pathetic amount of time even on a much higher cut. Might it be a problem with the motor protection switch or are there "hidden" vents which I have failed to clear? Any ideas? I was really happy with it but would now be quicker with nail clippers.
Hi, This definitely sounds like a fault with the mower if the batteries are charging fine. I have been using mine for two years and no issues so this is not normal. Please use this form to report the issue and Cleva will be able to help. Please let me know if you have any issues getting help and how the issue is resolved. Thanks
Thank you for your review. i have made the the decision, to buy the combination pack with the strimmer. and thank you for the discount code in the description to get 10% off . i have one question after cutting the lawn, is it best after cleaning the Mower to store it with the Batteries charged or uncharged ?. 😊
Hi John, so pleased that my review and site helped you make a decision. The battery should be stored in a 30% to 50% charged condition and charged every 6 months while in storage. Below is a guide to the battery and charger maintenance - Battery and Charger Maintenance ■ Keep the battery and charger clean and clear of debris. Do not allow foreign material into the recessed cavity or on the contacts. Wipe with a dry cloth. Do not use solvents, water, or place in wet conditions. ■ Always unplug the charger when there is no battery pack in it. ■ Check that the charger and battery contacts have not been shorted by debris or foreign material. Always store away from metal objects which could create a connection with the terminals. ■ Always remove the battery when storing the mower and keep in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight. ■ Store the battery only within a temperature range between 0°C and 25°C and do not subject or store the battery pack to direct sunlight. ■ It is recommended to store the lithium-ion battery pack in a 30%-50% charged condition. ■ It is recommended to fully charge the lithium-ion battery pack after every six months of storage. Hope this helps
Hi Andy, does this happen with both batteries or just one? Is the deck clear of any obstructions such as wet grass? Please read the user manual for safety instructions and root cause analysis as this may help. Let us know how you get on.
bought 37cm, used once , died now just wont work, changed battery, push button, pulled start bar, hum, stopped awaiting reply to email, the office is shut til monday,,, any ideas why brand new mower u/s?
@@EasyLawnMowing the plastic part that sits in the mower bends up so grass collects undnearth and then blocks it. The metal bar is screwed in underneath snapped so the support as now gone. The flap to say how full it is fell off and didn't work anyways.
Hi Martha, thanks for your feedback - that was not my experience. I tested the 34cm and 41cm LawnMaster and as you can see from my videos they performed well. The 41cm was in particular good at striping the lawn - you do need to leave the grass that bit longer for the striped lawn effect. The great feature of these mowers is that they are lightweight, however lightweight mowers will not stripe the lawn as well as heavy mowers.
@@EasyLawnMowingThanks, I've used it a second time and still no stripes which doesn't really bother me but it just feels so wobbly and unstable. I will keep it I suppose I'll just need to get used to it
I've just got the 37cm version and I can't believe how cheap it looks. Very brittle plastic and so light that the roller doesn't stripe. I'm not impressed at all.
Hi Lori, thanks for your feedback. I have tested both the 34cm and the 41cm cordless models and believe that the 37cm is identical apart from the deck size. As you can see from my video of the 41cm, I was very impressed with the way it striped my lawn and this is the mower I now use frequently. In terms of quality, whilst it is not the best I have seen it is by no means poor quality for the price you are paying and features it has.
@@EasyLawnMowing I received the mower yesterday and cut the grass today and there are no stripes. I feel as though I have to push down on the mower to make contact with the ground as it tilts back due to how light it is.
Hi, thanks for your message. What issues have you had with the LawnMaster mower? My LawnMaster CLMF4841E is still going strong and the batteries performing well. Mark
@EasyLawnMowing a few . Wear and tear from light use in 2 years principally. biggest of which is th collection bag coming off mid use, the lid on top not closing fully after a while. It's a cheap product
