Good description of replacement. I ordered the same kit, from rock auto.... It's been about 12 years since I replaced the original belt. It was easy, except for installation of the belt!! But got it done in about an hour. Thanks!!!!
Thanks for the excellent video! I had to replace pulley and tensioner on my 2009 Expedition with the 5.4L engine. It is exactly the same operation, and this video was a big help, especially the method to route the belt. By the way, the torque specs on the tensioner assembly's 3 10mm bolts is 18 ft-lbs. I couldn't find any torque spec for the idler pulley bolt, so I guess call it "snug".
Great video! Thanks. My only comment is, why does Amazon show the Idler Pully 89006 you're installing doesn't fit a 2003 Ford F150? I had orderd the 89007 pulley which it says fits that truck.
Amazon is sometimes wrong on their parts fitment. I assure you the 89007 fits the 2003 f150 with the 4.6 or 5.4 motor. You can also double check with www.rockauto.com on the parts list.
I always get a laugh when the video starts by .......first thing to do is open the hood.. Geeeeeeze if the guy does not know this then he should not even TOUCH the engine. The video is very good
To the point, informative, easy to follow. Everything necessary in a tutorial. Well done!!
Very nice Lighting best I have seen out of 15+ Videos Shalom..

Thanks for the info on the torque specs. Glad the video helped you out and thanks for the positive comments 👍
Finally a clear video. Thank you
I have an 01 F150, you should look up the T30 torx bolts related to the column shifter so your shifter won't be so sloppy and line up better.
Yeah I did a video on this as well th-cam.com/video/OlIKPtRgjD8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=h9mC8s1axl6c6AHf
Thank you, it's possible I might be able to do mine with the help of your video, great
Wow. Nice & Easy. Thank you for the informative video... On tightening the bolts. Did you just make it snug tight?
Yeah because there’s not a lot of room to get a torque wrench in there.
@@BLUECOLLARGARAGE ok. Thanks again !!! New Sub !!!
@@MrYAZZ-hl7pw Awesome thanks for the support.

My ‘98 F150 5.4L was a pain in the ass to fix. No joke the only belt that seems to fit was the same one my ‘00 F350 has 😂😂😂
Great video.. thank you very much

Thanks, man! I'm doing the 4.2L. but, it's similar anyhow.
Thanks, very helpful
