Kenny’s had awesome vocals since origin of the feces where y’all been
for shure, yeah. But this is different. He always had this kind of "rock music" vocals in Type O Negative/Seventh Void, and in Silver Tomb he Reminds me a bit of the late Lee Dorian. Seeing him doing these nice crossover Vocals is something new, at least for me.

I don't think people realize how much he sang on ToN albums! Great stuff.

Kenny has definitely had awesome vocals since Origin of the Feces. A lot people don’t realize how much vocal work he did while he was in Type O Negative! Damn do I miss Type O Negative!

Based on his other vocal work in Silvertomb and Seventh Void, Kenny should be the guy Soundgarden gets if they decide to tour again. I had no idea he could thrash it up as well. Dude doesn't get enough credit for his awesome vocals.
Some others say Richie Kotzen (talking about the vocalist for Soundgarden). Whatever. I feel you but Soundgarden ended with Chris Cornell imho.
Sorry dude, Kenny is not THAT good. Not even close. I like Kenny but I'm not delusional. And Soundgarden should not f-ing tour. Might as well replace Peter Steele while you're at it. Horrible ideas.
@@Salomon_G Well, I agree with you. Kenny can't sing many Soundgarden songs. He doesn't have such a powerful voice (as Chris had in his prime) and I find Kenny's voice way too "screamy" for Soundgarden...anyway I dig his music in Seventh Void and Silvertomb but Soundgarden & Type O Negative ended with Chris & Peter.

Dave Witte is such an underrated drummer. First heard him in Human Remains when they released an album on Relapse. I was playing that CD and someone that heard it thought it was a drum machine.

I don't know about underrated. He has played in more bands than I can list, has been a go to drummer in the east coast for years. Hell he even did some work with Agoraphobic Nosebleed for doing LIVE concerts( AxNx is a drum machine driven band) and that is a very demanding project. Check out the film Slave To The Grind, Dave is featured a lot in that film with his band Discordance Axis.
Burnt By The Sun. That band is one of my all time favs.
People hate on Kerry King a lot but imo he has created just as many iconic guitar riffs and songs as Jeff Hanneman. Especially from the album Reign in Blood. Those songs never get old!

@PsychonautPupilDialater Agreed. The majority of Reign in Blood was written by Jeff. I like a lot of Kerry’s songs, but in general, Jeff was the better songwriter. It’s even more apparent when you look at how weak the last album was, without Jeff (mostly).

Met Monte at Pop's in Sauget IL when he was playing with Prong on their return. Both him and Tommy were super chill and awesome.
Monte is a heck of a guitar player. I thought he was more like a guitar coach than actual band member?
Had some pre show drinks with Monte and Tommy Victor a few years back in Nottingham (the rig) next to Rock city, brilliant guys👊👊
Follow up......a few years later Prong plays the same venue (Monte was with Madonna by this time) playing before Soulfly, and they sold out of merch early on the tour. Tommy stays at the merch booth, shakes hands, signs autographs and apologizes all night. That guy is a huuuuuuuuuuuuge influence.
@@maximumzeroradio great story. The night I was there they played to 20 people for two hours. It was the scorpio rising tour, they played their arses off. Tommy is a total legend and prong seems to be a platform and testing ground for talent, drummers mainly.
I try and catch them every tour since 94 easily one of the best live bands, PronG for life.
