I've listened to a few songs from that. Dino Cazeres was actually at my friend's birthday party in Hollywood last Saturday, but I didn't have a ride there - I was bummed.

@@vikingguitar I haven’t listened to the whole thing yet but I’m not super impressed with what I have heard so far. Burton sounds great but the rest of the band just isn’t really doing it for me that much. I really do think Mechanize was their peak…
Ironically Mike said Mechanize is the easiest stuff for him to play and that the drums are more complicated in FF ever since. Mechanize was a lot of straightforward drumming as opposed to trickier patterns in the more recent albums.

The “Arise” album is a masterpiece from start to finish. Same can be said about “Chaos A.D” and “Roots”.

Some of the best drumming I've seen anywhere. I'm so ashamed that despite being a metal fan for decades, I hadn't heard of Mike heller. Fear Factory/Industrial was never quite my type but going to give them a thorough check out now!

I've been listening to sep since the 90s and this song is their masterpiece. Well to me that is. Their thrasterpiece.
When Lars was getting praised as the best metal drummer for AJFA, Igor was quietly blowing him away with this masterpiece of thrash drumming. Sepultrua's Arise record should be considered up there with Master of Puppets and Rust in Peace as the top thrash album of all time. Heck, the big 4 should be Metallica, Megadeth, Testament, and Sepultura.
