I'm an hvac commercial installer/technician. I love the m12 radio.. nice and basic, dropped it a bunch of times, throw it around in.my packout. Gets great reception in my state... If youre looking for bose type sound, you're going to be disappointed. If you're looking for a tough basic worksite job radio that can take a beating, for 109.99 you can't beat it..the price should be around 69.99 but it comes with a warranty that you pay for in the price
I think the sound is actually pretty great. Nice and punchy, clean when loud. Plus you can adjust the EQ to get that sound you was talking off. I listened to death metal on mine and the bass drum blast beats were shaking the wall lmao
@@kishascape I didn't say the sound wasn't good,I think it's great as well for the price. I was just letting people know not to have the expectations of a premium radio/speaker or bose system. All in all I love mine and the abuse it takes
I tried the M12 Radio last week. Sent it back. IMHO not enough sound output outside in my yard working, when farther away from it. Is only one directional, no surround sound type effect. To me probably O.K. in a closed workshop and work bench location. The other M18 radio's will be heaver. Will be much more powerful with strong Bass &Treble. The work site M18 Radio that has a 45 amp amplifier and the pack out radio will be heavier, cost more. In the end though you usually get what you pay for. I feel like the M12 Radio only is somewhat over price. Overtime may come down in price.

Just got mine after months of waiting on homedepot. But I got it with 2 4.0amp batteries charger and bag for $180 im very satisfied.
Definitely need the bigger batteries my m12 radio/charger sucks batteries down when it’s turned up

From a half dead battery about 45 min. Depends on your battery size, mine is a 4a/hr
