    I didn't read all the comments, so I don't know if anyone else mentioned this - the EQ also has NEGATIVE range, i.e., "1" is the center or "flat" position, and there is a range from -7 to +7 available - quite a wide range, in fact. I especially appreciate this feature, since I'm 72 years old and I've lost a lot of the high freqs in my right ear. Frankly, I was surprised at how good this radio sounds - it easily outperforms other radios I own from Sanjean, Crosley, Radio Shack, etc. Bonus:: it doesn't turn into a pile of worthless junk if it gets knocked off the table. ;-) Another bonus: this mother is LOUD AS HELL! Crank it, you'll see.

      The cord has a large adapter box on it that would make it difficult to store on the radio. I keep a backup M12 battery and actually never use the cord. The runtime is great and the battery charges in 30 minutes.

      @MarkThomasBuilder  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a good question. This one sounds good if you turn it up a little and stand further away. I would choose this one because of the radio and bluetooth seems to pair easier. The pill one probably has the better sound overall. I'm thinking about making a review on the Packout Radio. Would that be something you'd consider?

    • @G__Mason
      @G__Mason 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MarkThomasBuilder thanks for replying, I’m mainly looking for something small for my garage while I’m working n what not. I actually went and purchased both of them today to compare myself. I’m leaning more toward the pill for my needs, it seems to have the richer sound and a tad bit louder. Honestly though the M12 jobsite radio is very close to the volume of the pill, surprised the hell out of me considering the number of speakers (2 vs 6) but it just seems a little more “flat” than the pill. Charging batteries and the radio is not an issue for me, I can stream am/fm radio via Bluetooth from my phone if needed. I do prefer the portability, battery indicator, screen and hanging options on the new M12. Although I like the ruggedness of the pill, the fact it can stand up or lie down, takes M18 & M12 batteries and the overall sound/tones. Only thing I wish is it had is an equalizer although so far with ITunes and TH-cam it hasn’t been an issue. I suppose if I use M18 batteries I have my battery level indicator 😂. I’m still a little torn tbh haven’t fully made my mind up but like I said, for my specific needs of just jamming the Back Street Boys in my garage while I work on me fourwheeler 🤣 I’m leaning more towards the pill but I’d be plenty happy with the M12 as well. Hell at the rate I’m going I’ll own them all, leave the pill in the garage and use the excuse of portability to justify buying the others LOL… the things we tell ourselves and mainly or wives 🤣

      Haha, I can seeing it be a tough decision. I own a couple Milwaukee speakers for specific places where I work. My son likes using the Dewalt speaker that's the size of an old lunchbox for sports activities. My favorite all time Milwaukee radio was an old Rockford Fosgate jobsite radio. It had a great sound and was very heavy. The speakers went bad after many years of jobsite work conditions.

    Sorry but i don't realy like the revieuw, and let me tell you why. People come here to learn about the radio. For example: How loud can it play? How do you like the music quality? How does it compare to other radio's? Those are basic questions that you haven't realy adressed. Yet you start to talk about your instagram,..

      Fair enough, I appreciate the feedback, good or bad. If I made an update video on this radio, I'd say it's my favorite so far because of the small, portable size and the sound quality. It gets pretty loud and still sounds good. The Milwaukee Packout Radio is the best sounding of everything I own, but it's often stored in the middle of the Packouts and not as fast to just grab like this one.

    Should've started the review with a demo of the audio quality. That's it's defining feature!

      True, I try to get to the action faster now. If you're looking for a handy radio/speaker with great features, I highly recommend this one. It's nice and portable too.
