Well done lads, ye didn’t need any help from me. But in this trade we all should be sharing information and knowledge. From the dealer down to each and every one of us independents. Really interesting talking to ye today and thank you for the mention 💪💪
MrNiceGuy, after watching your channel and videos for the last year I have learned so much and repaired so much on my 2.2 Mazda 6 diesel that I finally sold it last week while everything on it worked at the same time. I ended up with aa 2020 2.0 petrol SE-L and will never have to deal with the diesel turbo/dpf/carbon/sensors/sump ever again. I appreciate all of the knowledge you have given us and explanations and breakdowns of how to do it ourselves.
Honestly. It seems such a small engine with so few parts and mechanics that can read diagnostics that came a long way ,having some experience and have some common sense should be able to troubleshoot and fix the problem. Thing is that like any job just need to be persistent, have hand skills and know what to look for.Need a tools and place to work of course. Keep up a good job!👍
Well done MrNiceCuy, I own a Mazda CX-3 1.8l Diesel Skyactive 12/2018 with 115000km on board. My problem is oil dilution and often regen every 200km. OK I now that short trips its bad for diesels so I never missed regen. Every 200km the lamp around the Motor switch off and I go for a trip 20-30km with 3000rpm and have succefull regens. But keep having oil dilution, from 98000 to 11500km I changed 3 times oils and always Mazda genuine dpf 5-30. Also I observed a momentary throttle response lag in 1st and 2nd gear. Local Mazda dealership told me that maybe dpf needs cleaning, and maybe a sensor has a problem and may be injectors have problem as all 1.5d had. But thats the reason I bought 1.8d! A friend of mine which is car programmer for cars told me to change the NoX senson, differential and the pipe becauce he made it to another car like mine and problem solved! Whats your opinion? I am thinking to make carbonoff cleaning with HH to a store, is good or bad? thank you and sorry for long texting.
Hi from Australia, I’ve been following all your video. I have a Mazda 6 2014, carbon clean done, all boost leak checked, all vacuum lines checked, no code but the car has no power on take off but when you floor it it suddenly take off like hell. Checked jnternal of turbo , canister, etc everything came as good?? Any help from you would be welcome
Hi all, has anyone been able to fix this P2262 issue in Mazda 6 diesel? changed the exhaust pressure sensor but, again engine inspection lights turned on. Low acceleration on the motor way. Any advise please ?
I have the same error code P2263 on my 2018 Mazda 1.5 Skyactiv diesel. Could it be the same problem? My issue occurs when the engine is cold; when the engine is warm, if I turn the car off and on again, it seems to work normally even though the check engine light remains on. I’m desperate 🤦🏻♂️
@@Dududma To find my problem, they connected a kind of pressure gauge to the valve cover and found that when air was introduced, it didn’t hold pressure. The cost at Mazda was about €480, but my dealership repaired it under warranty at no cost.
Hi. Mazda 6 2.2 Diesel 175 hp 2014 with automatic transmission. I press kickdown and engine rpm goes to 4500 but car is not going faster and can't change a gear.( 110 km/h) Can you help me? Any ideas? The car is sluggish. The car has 193,000 km. with four new Denso nozzles and new Turbo. They cleaned my EGR, DPF and intake manifold. My fuel pump has been checked and is fine. They changed the MAP sensor, MAF sensor and turbo solenoids and No Results. The last fault the car showed a year ago with the previous owner was P2712 and it cleared without doing anything. Now it doesn't log errors. The consumption does not fall below 8 liters. The gearbox is serviced with new transmission oil and new filter. No results. Is it possible i have cracked hoses and vacuum leaks? I'm desperate. Please help 🙏

Hello can you point where to connect the boost gauge pipe ?

Mine does a similar thing with the KF Engine replacement. Mazda never find a fault but it does exactly what yours is doing with 7+L/100km fuel usage.
Are those two solenoids the same part number? Or are they different....?
Same

@@Dududma Yes, they finally fixed the problem by replacing the valve cover.
@@luigigrazioso2020 how much did that cost. I may have to replace my valve cover. Is the PCV supposed to leak gasses we smoke tested it?

Is the mazda 2.2 D 150 bhp skyactiv a good engine or one to avoid?
Every engine is good in my opinion if it is not neglected.
