    contrast is everything. your entire mix is very reverb heavy like for instance big room or future rave in EDM? make the pre-drop very very dry and maybe a bit quieter. boom, now that reverb sounds so much intense

    Thanks, Nathan. I just tried this for the transition into the chorus by dipping the drums, then bringing them back. Sounds much more dramatic now!

    good advice to make things pop...used to do this live all the time...mixed cover bands like the album instead of sitting back and surfing friendster/myspace (whatever was cool back then)
