Weirdly they out hondad Honda with the 660. It’s a very easy bike to ride slow and yet it can be ridden extremely rapidly. I have the Tuono Factory and toured Spain last year racking up 350-500 miles a day on tiny, potholed, gravel strewn roads which wound up and down the Pyrenees and it was absolutely brilliant. Courtesy of Callimoto I ended up off road a few times and it coped very well. Flying up and down the passes felt really safe and everything just worked brilliantly and the seat is really comfortable. Bad points, squeaky rear brake at slow speed and I had a front rotor start to rattle on the bobbins at 3000 miles, but replaced under warranty. It’s quite economical unless I wring its neck.
Done over 8500 on my rs660 and love it. 2000 miles of those in the Italian dolomites in 8 days, no issues with comfort or reliability. Great little bike
Keep the SV as there is no such thing as an "upgrade" in the motorcycle world, just different bikes, with different characteristics. I have a K9 SV650S with 45K miles on road and track, and it is the one bike in my garage that never lets me down and will never leave. I'm a long time Ducati owner, and when they let me down, the SV is just sitting there patiently waiting to save the day 🙂
I do like the Aprillia, it I had a CBR650R as my first big bike and it was a scream! I am with you on twins though having moved on to a Panigale V2 (2022) which I loved! Sadly written off by a van driver bumping me off while I was stationary at lights in Portugal 🇵🇹 I will be having another Panigale V2 (2024 not the new one) come spring!

Brilliant bike, ride ohne myself. 😁 But saying that, I really don‘t know what you guys are doing with your mirrors. Can see perfectly fine through my RS660 mirrors. Only when gettin into really high RPM it vibrates a lot. But riding normal speeds I have absolutely no problems to look back.
It is a lovely bike but I went with the CBR650R for the 4cyl, 2k EUR delta and that nagging feeling of Aprilia reliability reputation in the back of my mind. Sold it to a friend at 30k and it recently pushed past 60k Enjoy the bike Charlotte, no reason to garage queen it :)
I'll say better than before. They are still kind of sketchy sometimes but atleast they are fun to ride. I own the Tuareg and it's an amazing bike but sometimes problematic 😂
@@abymathew295 Aprilia reliability is miles better than KTM, as well as their warranty. Only issue with Aprilia is dealer network may or may not be present depending on where you live. We have dealers all over in the west coast USA so lots of Aprilias on the roads.
Did you consider the Tuono 660?, or did you just like the look of the sportier RS 660, even tho they are the same basic motorcycle. BTW how tall are you that you needed to lower the bike? Im 5'-3" (160 cm )with a 31" inseam (79cm) looking at both the rs and the tuono factory
I like she's a sport bike girl, but her collection kinda look the same. Maybe that's her plan. 🤔 When I come to power I will make it law that you can only have bright colours on Aprilia, except red. Lovely bike.

Great video. Charlotte please never sell your SV. You will regret if you do. I know because I’ve done it 4 times already and I always regret. 😅
Four times???😂
Ikr I regret every bike I've sold!🤦🏼♂️... wish I still had them all🙂🤷🏼♂️
Great to see young riders. We need to get more young people into motorcycle riding.

ah now I want an Aprilla RS660. That looks great.
The SV650 has one of motorcycling's great engines. So sweet and characterful. Understandably hard to let it go.
Bring Charlotte back on more episodes.
She'll have to buy some more bikes first!
Let her test ride some new bikes.
Great video and detailed interview. Thank you for making short videos like this happen!

well done niece, you getting better all the times at these reviews
Looks great in black! I got one as my first bike a little over a year ago. Easy to ride and great on track!
Great video, I own one as well and all your comments are spot on.

Nice conversation, ride safe guys!
Great choice in the personal bike, Aprilias 660 platform is just awesome 😍😍🤟🤟
Murdered out RS looks scrumptious
I have been speaking English for over 45 years now, but I have no idea what you are saying here

😂😂
Is the black with silver standard colours?
@@feralscotsman9067 if you’re referring to the wheels, no
Absolutely gorgeous bike, fair play Charlotte - top choice!
Nice bike. I've never seen one in black, it looks great.

Great taste in bikes!
its a brilliant bike when you ride it you fall in love.
best looking one ive seen
The Tuono 660 Factory with Öhlins-only shock is coming.
🤩🤩🤩
Love the Aprilia
What a gorgeous bike wow......👍

Nice review
I really like this bike....it's a perfect Daily bike....but are they reliable.??
😂that’s why I bought a cbr600rr at the end 😅
@kaw7513 ..Good call, But Again, it's not a good daily bike..
I'll say better than before. They are still kind of sketchy sometimes but atleast they are fun to ride. I own the Tuareg and it's an amazing bike but sometimes problematic 😂
@LowQualityPigeon ..same with my KTM tooo.... probably the funnest bike on the planet, but reliability issues..🤕🤕

Her bike is the yin to tuck's rs660 yang
Reference height can you get dog legs for it , put them on my tiger 660 sport and sorted out the short leg problem by lowering by 2 cms 😊👍👍
Her swingarms coated?
Great look
It snaps on. Either carbon fiber or fake carbon fiber. Stock is painted aluminum. The rsv4s are polished aluminum and look nicer.
How did she crash the honda, and how much has the insurance gone up by doing so? That would make a good video
Great bike and all black so the fastest colour….
Out of interest, what are her measurements: height and inseam?
Shoot 200miles in a day isnt a bad day at all. Unless its all fast highway miles (which is horrible) thats a lot of hours in the saddle.
just saw the video with her sv650s yesterday lol

Lovely bike.
Poor CBR :(
what a woman, 2 bikes and hoping to add a little cruiser, fair play 🙂
She sounds like new rider
Love the rs660 but reliability scares me.
Liked # 660 😂
Parellel twins are a cop-out cheap skate bike when it comes to sport. Gutless...sound bland and soulless.
Gorgeous bike.
How much do you people earn? I can’t afford 2 bike let alone 2
IMO the CBR650R is a way better bike.
She certainly loves her bikes in black but I guess black bikes matter🙄
jail
That is aprilia reliability lol 🤭 I will never buy one.
too short my dears
so many nice colors for the bike... not this one
Agree, dulls the bike down. And less visibility on the road.
Phoar! I've no chance.
