Man, the expedition box is impossible to get to unless you get the fan clutch out of the way
yeah, the longer length video I made shows how tough that is... it was easier for me since I have an electric fan conversion.

Sorry, I don't know enough about that gear box to provide an educated answer.
I over titened the box and then my truck was pulling all over the place I loseen it back up now my steering is worse then before

@@DrivingIntelligence it was an old farmers truck it’s whole life. Rebuilt the frontend, changed a bushing on the firewall, but went to adjust the box and I couldn’t even get more then a half of turn either way.
I found rebuild kits online but they are only gasket and seal.
@@SmudgyContent yeah, I heard the rebuild kits are worthless. Two companies out there, I think their names are Red Hat and Blue Top... something like that. They actually machine internal surfaces during rebuild to make the steering gear BETTER than new. This is what they told me... but I can't validate. Some day in the future, I will get one.

@@DrivingIntelligence apparently, you followed O.E. instructions. Good that it works as it should.
@@peted5217 I was careful with tightening, but if overtightened as I mentioned in the full video, damage to the gear box can occur, or poor steering response.
