Hydrus looks good as it doesn't have ropes on top of the tube like Excel does, hooks are always prone to catching on them. I like the 3.7m Hydrus that comes with both aluminium and air floors so it can be changed to suit your needs.
Yes it's a bit of a catch 22 for me because I sit on the tubes and hold the ropes , that's why I got rid of the honwave , also key for me is getting back on board is easier with ropes definitely if your small .. But yea love the concept of the dual floors
Like the look of the Excel boats but there just too flat at the bow. If they put a bit of flare on the bow they would have the market sown up. I need a new sib my Aerotec is about to dissolve soon i think 😢😂
Your absolutely right they are great but very flat .. the boat world carbon pro range is excel quality but with the higher roller bow worth a look for sure
Was there on the Thursday. Looks like there was bit of a shift about with the layout of a few of the stands.... I just hope they build on the angling section. Very little there for the littler guy, the ones that are maybe starting out right at the beginning...
They are gonna go with a more angling next year I believe, has fishing is a big part of why we have boats .. although it is a boat show I do get what people are saying
Thanks for the great video. As a man of experience, I would like to follow your lead with Excel. I have a 2.9 at the moment which is only D rated. What would be your recommendation on the largest sib that could be managed on my own. I realise that it is subjective, but you seem to be someone that has been there and done it, as they say. I live in Pembroke, so mostly bays and a little further. Appreciate any advice.
So much to choose from and thanks for your kind comments ... I'd be looking for a 3.6m max fee boats to choose from but the new maelstrom products boat ( check out there page ) will be available soon and I'd highly recommend waiting for that, the sample has just landed .. although btye boatworld carbon pro and honwave t35 are great boats too
I found the Hydrus boats over dressed, they must have been up half the night laminating all those sheets of A4. Got a great deal off Excel On a new boat, nice people to deal with.
So I am stuck between the Vanguard 335HD and the Hydrus , I do like a robust transom as I have a Boatworld 320 and it flexes with my 15hp 4 stroke on it , in your opinion would the excel be the better boat
Cant answer on the hydrus not used one but I've seen one .. how every the excel is a fabulous boat and would be my choice over the 2 you questioned mainly for warranty purposes and quality.. the boatworld 365 carbon pro is basically excel/honwave , even made in the same factory and with same material as excel same transom and by far the best value for money on the Market ATM
Could hold nav lights, rod holders , various mount for different things like fish finder, camera but most important is if you need a wee then you ha e something to hold on too 😅😂
Thank you for sharing that's pure awesomeness, I absolutely 💯 % love the inflatable boats, hard bottoms, air decks etc...
One thing wrong with this video...!! It was too SHORT...!! (i'm drooling....) really enjoyed that...

@@sibfishingadventuresuk1558 hahah, great video btw, very helpful
@@sibfishingadventuresuk1558 I have a honwave t38air deck, thinking about the boatworld carbon 365, would it be an upgrade you think ?
Really depends v.. honwave t38 is probably the bench mark you will gain space and a flat deck but I'd say that be about it .
What's the purpose of the A frame
