Hi I'm glad you found a bit of inspiration, it's just about making the boat as practical as possible. I use a heavy duty elastic to assist the bottle holder in retaining the bottle.
Excellent thanks, glad you liked the review. I have not always pumped the floor up after putting the boat in the water, but maybe this pump will make things easier so I'll be more inclined too.
Hello Andre, and thank you for your comment. Sounds like a good setup you have, hope you'll be posting some videos soon of your sib adventures. Regards. Andy.
Thanks, about the retire and my back hurts more now when sea kayaking. Looking for an easier way to explore the Scottish islands. Ive ticked off a few and now a dog is with me each day. Getting old and love Scotland too much to stop.
Thanks for comment, if you can't trailer then a air v floor or air deck would be the way to go, if you can trailer ( which ultimately will be the less hassle way) would be a solid floor and inflatable keel, I've had both the t35 ae and the T38IE2 they both have there place but the 38 or similar air deck is what you need for full fast roll up boating, hope that makes sense, also choose your size wisely depending on expected sea conditions and portability for launching. Theres a lot of difference between the T38 and t32. Happy to help with more info if required.
@@MrKeelan74 Thanks! I live Durham north east England. I’m pretty much decided on getting a trailer and then head northwards. Thanks for advice and I watched your other videos, looks great. I’ll do more research.
Hi, Nice video about the T38. I’m looking for a boat that i can pack in the car and easy to set up. I will use to spearfishing, and my question is how stabel is the T38 to get back in. Same small air deck just roll over you when you try to get in and is no one in the boat. Have you try to get in the boat from the water? It’s ok?
@@PedroLima-cp5sg thanks for the comment, I've got in many times from swimming and you'll be fine. it's a great boat and I'd highly recommend, very stable, if your in the UK then there's lots of second hand ones about at moment for very reasonable prices. Think of where your going to put it into the sea as that will determine if you need launch wheels or other options.
Video is appreciated, i am thinking about getting a T38 it will be my first, I just finding it hard to figure out were i can launch from. cheers for the Video
Hi Peter, T38 a great boat if you've checked out my other vids you'll see how capable it is. The T32 is a great boat too, smaller and lighter which is easier to handle and launch so may be a better bet if launch sites are going to be dubious. Think about how many ppl will normally be in the boat, the water your going out on and the weather you will be going out in. If more ppl and tougher conditions then the T38, if it's less ppl and fairer conditions the T32 may be a better bet. Where's your boating area ?
@@MrKeelan74 hello thanks very much for the reply. Ok so would only be braving the calm seas in favorable conditions im located Merseyside. Thing that's puts me off is I will be lumping this alone as I will get minimal help from my two. Advice is appreciated
From what you've said a T32 with a 10hp motor would be fine, my first inflatable was a 2.65 wetline airdeck with a 5hp tohatsu, coped with a 7 mile calm sea journey with 4 adults, you'll see a T32 along with me on my other vids. As soon as it's to big it's prohibitive, you've lost before you even start. I don't know your area, if you do, great if not a few visits looking at sea conditions at various states of the tide and wind/ weather will tell you alot. Any how, safe boating, and check out alot of other ppl's videos, they're normally alot better than mine. 😏
Hi mate, really interesting video, thanks for the information. I've just bought the same rib and also live in Exmouth, was wondering if you were around still to maybe catch up for a chat and perhaps take a look at your mods. Thanks Sean
Hi Sean, thanks for your comment. I do most of my boating from Exmouth, but as much as I'd like to be I'm not based there. Your going to love your sib, you can easily do Exmouth - Hopes nose given the right conditions on a summer evening. Sadly due to work and family commitments I've managed no boating this year. If I find myself thinking about an Exmouth trip, I'll sure to be in contact, 2 boats are better than 1 for long distance exploring and it's more fun. What engine have you got on your boat ? Any mods so far ? Try making an additional seat which is little cost compared to a genuine. Andy
Hi are you still happy with the boat 2 years on? I looking at SIBs, I want an all rounder (for fishing, diving and excursions) boat being light weight and fast would be nice ideally I'd lie to be able to water ski from it sometimes but I'm told thats not exactly possible, how do you feel about the honwave t38 now 2 years on?
The honwave t38 is a great boat, capable fast and light, if you've seen this video you've probably seen my others some in quite choppy water. To ski, you'll need a boat with prob 60hp min. Fishing excursions and diving can all be done off the t38 or a t35 is good if you can get a trailer for it, couple both with 15 hp or above and you'd have a good capable little boat. Questions to ask yourself, do you want or have space for a trailer, how many people will be in the boat, what conditions will you be going out in. ? Hope this helps.
I think you new that the honwave t32 was the boat of choice to downsize from the t38, I've yet to decide if I'm going to test the quicksilver 3m air deck or just get a t32 as originally planned. Have you got a GoPro for the excel ?
Thanks, I have not known or had experience of this issue, I guess if you bought a new boat and it was faulty for whatever reason you'd take it back and get a replacement.
Hey bro 🤣👍😜 me and your nephews dyeing to get back to England for a spin on that boat, are those grip handles new? Do I actually have something to hold onto now when u are flying over those waves? 🌊 😂
Hi, if your in the UK there's plenty of Honda stockists, it's just a case of finding the one you want to use. In the past I've paid more for the boat but used a local chandler's as it's good to have that personal link with a stockist in case anything goes wrong. Same applies any where in the world of course.

@@MrKeelan74 from what I heard it's considered very bad luck in some countries to bring a banana on the boat :D I also have a question, what is that tube-like canister around 12:50 (which I think you use for storing your anchor)? I'd need something similar for my anchor. Thanks!
@@daiquiri. hi thanks for filling me in regarding marine superstition.
