The deduction Message should be instant like OTP.
You will be on highway where the mobile network will not be as good as in the city.
@@mayurnaravani i think if they are using Fast tag which is based on internet then there would be communication tower.
If there is not there should be tower installed. I didnt faced network issue on highway 90% of time.
@@Akshay-uq5uq yes it is based on internet, byt not sure if it is based on wireless communication which we use in our mobile. The network availability based on population density plays vital role in the connectivity.

Am victim of this scam too.
If we calculate we all are living in scam circumstances.
According to me, Government want to run fast without proper race track, i.e., without proper infrastructure. They should improve the quality first.

@@abhishekramarao1512 FYI I travel to my village from mumbai to rajasthan by road only from past 8years the quality is good yes at some point of highway in gujarat there is going some work but it's not that much problem beside that you can go very smoothly may be where you travel there roads may not be thst developed
@@ravivaishnav8454 That's what I am saying. Because MUMBAI is a metro city roads connecting to it will be good. But what about other highways. Is it a mistake that all the cities are not metro? I would suggest you to travel south of India and find the quality of road and the infrastructure too. Even in Maharashtra, some of the state highways are not well maintained. Why is the difference between NATIONAL HIGHWAY and STATE HIGHWAY? Is it correct to be so?
I don’t pay cash. Once at Pune Kolhapur highway, they asked for the cash but i refused. Ultimately they came with hand scanner and scanned the fastag.

ICICI Fast Tag refunds after 15 days once you upload the cash receipt and picture of vehicle RC and vehicle number plate.
Even sbi
Has ICICI Bank gone mad....why do they require number plate photo, when RC copy is already uploaded on the profile during the request/activation of fastag.
If a customer is complaining, at the most they can ask for the image of the cash receipt and tally the details like date and time from their own server and cash receipt. If the details match, they should refund the amt.
They are unnecessarily creating dissatisfaction to the customer who is already fed-up at the toll.
In this case then their SLA does not become important to which they usually boast of!
what if they give you a fake receipt how can you make sure it's genuine?

@@nitinsingh.2107 I understand that they will validate that, but as a customer how can you know if it's invalid ? you gave cash and fast tag also debited, how as a customer do you save from this forgery ?

It means fastag scan hua aur barrier uper utth jaye.
I have already made a complaint and following up for refund. Everytime these guys ask for new evidences. I have given car photo, toll receipt now these guys asked for SMS screen shot of toll deduction. I have given that too. Now let's see what happens. My Amount was 270. But I won't leave them. Yes, Don't leave even its small amount ...if we want our country corruption free with high standard amenities we have to change the mindset of 'chodo koi aur krdega ya chodo chalta hai'. We all have to come out of this.

if the server is not working but we came in the radio frequency of that particular toll scanner and they gave us free pass at that time but if by any chance after some time the toll fare automatically got deducted is it possible?, or if it is then is it legal or okay to do ?
Very good suggestion. I am using SBI fastag. I had similar problem of double payment through cash and fastag both due to delay in reading at toll booth. I emailed the bank and attached payment receipt of cash and screenshot of fastag payment. Got the amount refunded without any fuss.

after 20 mins gone 90 rupees from paytm wallet.
they pressure u showing u the traffic behind u. so u just pay & move forward

Please see Sub rule (3) of rule 6 of the National Highways Fee(Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules,2008.Third proviso says that if the reader could not read the Fastag even if it had sufficient balance due to malfunctioning of the toll collections system, then the toll collector should provide the driver of the vehicle with 'Zero' transaction receipt and should allow the vehicle to pass without any charges

I got a new car on 19th Dec 2020. The car came along with SBI fastag (inactive). But my fastag was not activated at that time. On 23rd Dec, I crossed OMR-Chennai toll plaza once and paid with cash . My fastag was finally activated on 28th Dec 2020. After that when I crossed the same OMR toll-plaza (on 2nd Jan 2021) my fastag was debited for my earlier crossing on 23rd Dec 2020... Such a stupid system... I raised email complaint and they have raised some ticket internally and mentioned it will take 16 working days to process refund :(
In my old car I used Paytm fastag and did not faced such stupid issues. But in Paytm fastag I faced a different issue. The fastag was working fine when I recieved it. But in 10 days or so, when I wanted to travel long distance, my fastag became inactive due to document-verification. But infact I provided all documents and it was working earlier. So that took one week to resolve.
Overall there are still problems in fastag implementation. It will take an year or two to fix all these issues. Until then we need to be cautious.

Same thing happened with me... Scanner eas not working at that time.. And after waiting for 15 min line i noticed that they were stopping every car for a min and then letting them go.. So i didn't paid any attention to that...and the barriers was opened so i thought i won't be charged and the moment i was right but i was charged next day.. And that was shocking.. So is there any way i can complain about that

Sir kal Kanpur sa Lucknow returned ma low bal tha return toll with Fastag 40 rs ka tha par toll plaza wale na penalty ke naam par 160 rs charge kiya zabke 40 ka return tha to 80 rs lana chaheya

I am a victim too. However, after complaint to the HDFC fastag customer care, I got my refund after 30 days. I had to share the photo of receipt with them. They verified everything using the CCTV at the toll plaza. This happened while going from Nashik to Malegaon at Pimpalgaon toll plaza.
What i have observed is they scan the fastag but say your fastag is black listed, fastag was read and amount was cut and had sufficient balance.. and they cut amount after 2 days of my trip, this is also one new way they have found to ask for cash payment

Once they also tried to scam me ...They told me that ur fastag was blacklist ....So I went to 2nd lane and their fastag was scanned
mere sath karne ki koshish kri thi, mere fastag me 1000 se upar balance tha, pr bol rhe the ki bal low hai, maine bola 1000 se upar hai balance , ache se check kro. fir jane diya tha.. aur usi din return me unka server blacklist dikha rha tha, maine bola mrng me cut hua hai paise toh blacklist kaise ho gya.. uske baad usne fir se check kiya aur jane diya.. ue sb double fare ke liye kara ja rha hai..fastag line double dare hota hai..
